I'm so grateful for these videos from this concert being posted, as i attended this concert. It was £10 for the ticket. We got to see young Eric, The Who (performing Quadrophenia for the first time in years), Bob Dylan (who was dreadful) and teh Alanis Morrisette. Clapton owned the entire night, it is etched in my memory as a favourite moment.

I’m just about 70 now and grew up listening to Clapton’s music - and still 💕 it. Eric performed this in a beautiful duet with Pavarotti in a ‘Pavarotti and Friends’ benefit concert that imo was even more impressive. BUT THIS is still 🌟!
