Left a comment-British but I loved this music-I am now 79, and I will always thank GOD , I was always part of this music's wonderful era and the music from Britain😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The thing about The Eagles is that not are they the most amazing musicians in everyone of them, but you know your in safe hands..you know they're going to give it 100% and their live sound is above excellent! 🦅❤
I was born in 1979. I know every word to this song and many more of the Eagles songs and I know I will never get the pleasure to see them in concert but I love the Eagles. They are wonderful band. Thank you for many wonderful decades of beautifully done music!!!! ❤❤❤
Jackson Brown was stuck on the second verse of this song. His upstairs neighbor Glenn Frey improvised, "It's a girl oh Lord in a flatbed Ford slowing down to take a look at me". Brown liked it and for that line only gave Frey co-writing credit. What a line. Frey probably made a million dollars per word for his portion of the writing credit for that song which launched the Eagles.
@@gwestfall Well, it was Jackson that was standing on the corner in Winslow, not Glen. And the girl was from Flagstaff, IIRC. Both events happened to JB.
I had the great fortune of seeing them on the Hell Freezes Over tour in Ottawa. Best concert I've ever been to. They were at the top of their game then, with all of them being clean and sober.
The Eagles are brilliant… They have so many great songs and they’re the closest thing to country that I will listen to because they’re so creative and mesh different genres together. Their harmonies are magnificent…
I think there's one thing we can all agree on we all wish Glenn was still alive rest in peace Glenn Frey you were one of the greatest singer-songwriters ever
That reunion changed my life. Having been an Eagles fan forever, I had finally found "the one". Then seeing this TV special with my fiancée, and hearing "Love will keep us alive" we made it our song. Exactly! Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy! Just take it easy!
Yup.
He'll freezes over tour. I was born in 1969 and grew up with their music. But seeing them live. !! Each individual, equally talented and featured was so enlightening entertaining and humbling experience. I hope they each know how appreciated they are
Left a comment-British but I loved this music-I am now 79, and I will always thank GOD , I was always part of this music's wonderful era and the music from Britain😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The thing about The Eagles is that not are they the most amazing musicians in everyone of them, but you know your in safe hands..you know they're going to give it 100% and their live sound is above excellent! 🦅❤
Despite everything this is the song that brought my dad and I back together xxx
Serious time of mourning when Glenn passed !!! Glenn, Don, Joe and Timothy were and are incredible talents !!!!!!!!!
You took the words and feelings right out of my heart.💜 Glenn Frey will always be Loved.
Yep, I got to stand on the corner in Winslow AZ with Glenn! Long live the Eagles!
I was born in 1979. I know every word to this song and many more of the Eagles songs and I know I will never get the pleasure to see them in concert but I love the Eagles. They are wonderful band. Thank you for many wonderful decades of beautifully done music!!!! ❤❤❤
I remember my dad getting me out of my crib at 2 years old to watch this debut on TV. My earliest memory. Miss you pops ❤️
Such a great track, co-written by Jackson Browne. Love The Eagles. May Glen Frey rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️
Co-written by Glenn Frey. It is basically a Jackson Browne song

Now we lost Meisner too just about a week ago, on July 26'th 2023. He made it to 77 years of age
Absolutely!
One of the greatest bands of all time! I’m feeling blessed ❤️
The Eagles the high flying best band playing this genre of music. Copied by many never surpassed!
Thank the good lord we even got to take the kids to see them live.
We danced to "our song" in the isle by the mixing board... the year before the world lost Glenn.
Thanks for a lifetime of great music gentlemen! It's been an honor to be born in the company of such great artisans and musicians. ♥
Absolutely love this song’if they dont play this at my funeral I aint going “.
Greatest band of all time.
