Thanks you for the very kind comment. If you get a chance, check out our web site too at www.ilovervlife.com. For each video, we create show notes with directions, campground site maps and links. We even have an RV Accessories page with the items we use in our RV travels. Hope you’ll find this helpful as well. Jerry...
We have thought about staying there several times but never have. We stayed 15-20 miles farther west on I-20 at Poverty Point state park in Delhi, La on one trip. We love the RV parks along the Mississippi River. One of our favorites is River View RV Park in Vidalia, LA just across the river from Natchez, MS. The thing we love most about your videos is the info about the parks you stay in. To us, this is just as important to as the sites around the local area. Thanks for the great videos!
Awesome video Jerry. Nice campground. Glad you shared plenty of info on this place as well. Your such a blessing to each and every subscriber! Love how you do your excursion videos. Take care and stay safe, with a multitude of blessings to you and Joan!
Wish we could’ve stayed longer in Vicksburg, especially after watching this video! But we did tour the military park and look forward to your video of that as well as all of your upcoming videos! Safe travels guys!
During our Vicksburg visit we also went downtown & saw the old drug store where the first Coca Cola was bottled, they were given the distribution rights for that part of the country, before I was told Coke was only a “fountain” drink.
You nailed it Jerry. We enjoyed our visit to the Ameristar and Vicksburg. If you get to Natchez, Vidalia,La has a really nice campground right on the Mississippi river. Thanks for all you do!
This is why I love watching Tubers at my age group showing all the campgrounds all the young Tubers everything is about boondocking trying to cheat the system. We are campground people looking to spread the wealth and help the economy that's what America is all about in my mind.
We found red and blue signs everywhere describing the events and places from the Civil War. For a history buff like me, it was a treasure trove. Looking forward to sharing the next couple of videos from the area.
I've been to the campground a few times traveling from Arkansas to Destin FL and also found it to be a good place to stop. The only negative I found was the fire ants. Didn't take long for my wife and dog to find them. Wish the park would do a better job of ant control.
Jerry, I can not thank you enough for the efforts you make in each video. Thank you.

Thanks Jennifer. We too enjoyed a stay. So much to see and do. Few more videos of Vicksburg coming up soon.
My hubby & I did an overnight stay there and I agree, it's a nice park and a good value!
It is a nice place.
During our Vicksburg visit we also went downtown & saw the old drug store where the first Coca Cola was bottled, they were given the distribution rights for that part of the country, before I was told Coke was only a “fountain” drink.
We planned to go, but ran by to late and closed. Bet it was interesting.
Loved the video Jerry, hope to get down that way one day.
Thanks.
Always enjoyable. Have never been to downtown. Plan on going now! Thanks.
Thanks Liz. A few more videos of our Vicksburg stop are planned over the next several days. Hope you find them interesting.

Thanks Diane. We’ve thought about the Mississippi River RV run. That would be a blast.
Good information
Thanks Tim
We have stayed here on our treks to Texas every year.
Nice stopping point.
Yes it is.
We live in Arkansas but I got to say hoggie dogs was a good one!
One of those moments having a little fun 😏
Bad day for GA
For sure. Not one of their best.

There's plenty to go around. We travel on a budget and haven't had any issues finding a nice, reasonably priced campground.
Some of the buildings there date back to when the fighting was going on there, Gen. Grants troops marched down some of the streets there
We found red and blue signs everywhere describing the events and places from the Civil War. For a history buff like me, it was a treasure trove. Looking forward to sharing the next couple of videos from the area.
I can't wait to see them, I am a big time civil war buff
Besides Gettysburg, the say Vicksburg is one of the most haunted places you can visit
Also, sorry to hear that Georgia lost.
Yes they did. Not one of their better games.

Hi Kent. We didn’t run into any this trip. Maybe they treated the area?
