    Your knowledgeable opinion makes sense. I am a rerired LEO and former military. That C2 is the perfect mix of modern 1911 evolution. Has all the features I need as an old school 1911 shooter. Was a tanker and carried a 1911 with a bad case of battle rattle for years. But I digress. Has all the features but one that I am looking for. Not criticizing anyone's choices either. This is my choice. For me it would be perfect but it has to be 45ACP. Hope it is offered in that caliber. I own a Gen I STI Hextac 4.0 with a 4.15 barrel. And have carried it for years and it has been flawless. Despite the fact that I have read from experts that double stack 2011s in 45ACP are notorious for feeding problems. Maybe I am jinxing myself. But have never experienced that with my old Hextac 4.0. Great video. Really enjoy your channel. Thank you.

    I found a gun store near me that has a Staccato C2 in stock. Actually it has several different models of Staccato pistols in stock, but I want to buy the Staccato C2. They open and 9:00 AM and I'm going to go down and buy it based on the videos you have produced. STI needs to be sponsoring your channel. I subscribed to your channel today. I have the P Duo and C2 Duo. The C2 is hands down the carry gun. You think the p isnt that big but once you have it it is. I can carry the C2 no issue all day. On top of my Glock 26 that is my EDC it is almost the same size with the glock plus 2 on the mag. I love the C2 it has 16 plus 1 rounds of capacity with a flush mag. It comes with 3 mags and if you get the Duo it has the optic cut. If you do not care about an optic you can save $500 and go C2 not the C2 Duo. Duo indicates optic ready for those that do not know. One thing to add is the C2 can use the larger capacity Mags, so you can get the 170MM as a extra mag and carry one mag rather than 2 and hav extra 27 rounds. Out of the box you have a 50 round box of ammo capacity. 3 16 round mags plus 1. I dont think there is anyone really competing with Staccato in this market. The overall quality the feel and the optic capability. Just all around fantastic. Cant forget the trigger. The trigger is just incredible.

    Excellent review Hilton. I found it interesting that you were 2/10 of a second faster on the staccato P 4” Compared to the staccato P 2020 4.4” on the bill drill I figured the longer barrel and slide would’ve let you track faster and return to target quicker..

    • @108Performance
      @108Performance  4 года назад +4

      The 4.15 was 2.20 and the 4.45 was 2.23....only .03 or 3/100 faster, a statistically insignificant time difference. I was able to run the same times with both P models though the 4.45 was a little softer. Comparison of those two is in the works.

      @ACGBLR Год назад +1

      I have two of the c2s and they will show some play in the slide to frame. First, the anodized aluminum will wear in a bit and the DLC will as well. As they both add some added material to the steel and aluminum.
      I have 5k rounds through one, Kyle defoor had 25k through his, with no cleaning. He had no issues from it.
      Tony Pignato the XO at Staccato has 50k though his.

      David Richardson triarc doesn’t make a officer sized frame gun. For me it’s the grip that’s hardest to conceal. I also believe the triarc is going to be much much nicer from a quality standpoint. You should also look at the nighthawk TRS Commander I think probably the nicest out of those 3. As always YMMV.

    • @108Performance
      @108Performance  3 года назад

      lilmanop It’s not physically possible to direct mount an RMR because the footprint is wider than the slide. That’s exactly why the plate is there. If you want a thinner plate, get the C&H plate with our front sight.

I'm currently pocket carrying a Walther PPK and do like it but the limited rounds "could" be an issue at some point (Hopefully never!). I didn't see you mention what barrel option you have in your C2 and why you selected it. I have plenty of other pistols for the range and also threaded barrels for my suppressors so don't really need that. Any thoughts?

      Yes. There are several other videos where he has a Staccato P set up that way, HOWEVER all factory production capacity for grips is going into new guns, so you will not be able to grab one for a while. You could pick up an older "VIP" grip as a stopgap, but even those command a premium.

      108Performance so it looks like I’m buying a staccato P on top of my staccato C2 ... Believe it or not I do have the money for it. Been kind a looking at Atlas.
      Regardless what has been stated about this staccato P is not a carry gun in anyway unless you are a law enforcement And can open carry 24 /7 open
      And are willing .
      Will emphasize this for newcomers a gun is no good if you do not have it with you. Sounds silly but it’s not ..
      no matter what any body on RUclips or the Internet says
      concealing a gun is not comfortable. Nor is it meant to be.
      To quote“Clint from Thunder Ranch .
      Carrying a gun concealed 24 seven it’s not supposed to be comfortable it’s supposed to be comforting there is a big difference.... many people do not have a gun with them. Because of the size ... Too many new gun owners out there...Just stating the facts

    • @TheLegoJoker
      @TheLegoJoker 4 года назад +1

      CZ 1always I don’t find that to be true at all about the Staccato P. I carry mine on a regular basis. It’s about what you’re willing to carry and dressing around it. A good holster with a 15-20 degree cant makes it easy enough to hide. Is it for everyone? No. Some people want the tiniest gun possible, and that’s OK. I am of the mindset of carrying the biggest gun I can conceal because of generally higher capacity and bigger guns tend to be much softer shooters than the tiny pocket pistols.

      Check out QVO Tactical. I went with them for holsters for my Staccato Pduo and XC. Great quality.

      LAS is my go to AIWB.

      @@108Performance I have been an STI fan for 15 years or so but never owned one. Saw this review last weekend and it sold me on the C2. Found a C2 DUO yesterday and immediately purchased it. It will be my new EDC. Going to try the LAS holster you have. Never tried appendix carry. Current carry is a leather Milt Sparks VM2 at 5 o'clock position. What type of clips do you prefer on the SHOGUN? They have a few options to choose from. Lastly, can you actually wear AIWB while driving or sitting in a chair? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Didn’t you end up putting the larger frame on yours ?!

      The frame is the metal chassis, so no. I also did not change grips on it either.

      No but gun will be snappy due to slide velocity and overall weight.

      That's some very helpful feedback. I'm sorry that this channel's free content isn't sufficiently stimulating for you.

    Staccato… overpriced, over rated waste of money. I’ll put money down that a staccato wouldn’t last half as long as a Glock 17 in a “gauntlet” type torture test, like the ones Military Arms Channel runs. For killing paper in competition, sure. But for combat in real life and battle proven, a Glock just literally smokes away the STI/Staccatos.

      Man, this comment didn’t age well lmao. You have spec ops that run Staccatos, in addition to USMS, and local, state, and other federal agencies. I suppose you also haven’t seen the plethora of videos where people pack mud/dirt/sand/etc. and it works just fine. It’s okay to say you just can’t afford one.

      @@killerinst1ncz308 “spec ops”? Go back to call of duty Junior. That’s a term no longer used except in movies. Affording a Staccato and blowing money on a Gucci-gun are two different things. Did you know that their magazines cost $100? Each? Would you use an 18karat gold sledge hammer to break up concrete?

      @@colt10mmsecurity68mags cost $69 and like the comment above, numerous law enforcement and military guys are carrying these and testing has been done on them. I agree that a Glock 17 will take more of a beating and not need as much lubrication over time, that wouldn’t be enough to not carry. The benefit being the user being able to put rounds on target faster and more accurately which is what matters most when every shot counts. When you function under stress your fine motor skills diminish to a degree so having something that you naturally shoot more accurately is a major benefit.
