Why did you go with the C2 over the P as a duty weapon?
@@hurt1704 accurate, reliable and shoots better than any pistol I have ever fired. Recoil is very easy to manage, the pistol feels like it shoots itself. You will love it.

I watch a video where you did some comparisons to the c2 and edc x9. Just wondering if you can do something a little more in depth but just those 2 guns talk recoil impulse, loaded weights and etc. all I got from outlaws review is I bought the gun and my friends like to shoot it better so it’s a better gun he never did a typical comparison like he always does which is kinda sketchy to me.
Picked up a C2 carry today along w/ 2 extra mags. Very nice pistol! Already have it equipped with a Sawmpfox Sentinel-A and TLR-7A. Also switched to green fiber for contrast.
Waiting on the LAS hostler to complete my best carry setup. It's like Xmas!
How do you like the swampfox.Also does it say the amount of torque on the plates.I'm planning to put 1 on mine.

I got the C also after his review... I don’t know of anybody that has a C2 that is complaining... what they are doing is smoking the no fail drill.
I've been looking to pull the trigger (punn intend) on a WC EDC9 for quite awhile now. Then I stumbled upon a Staccato review, and I've been curious if that's the way to go ever since. This helped. Thanks

Was lucky enough to get my hands on one. And it had the optics cut. This thing almost shoots as softly as a 22. Expensive, yes. But unless it's super hot and I have to wear a thin t-shirt this is my permanent carry.

The only thing I don't like about the C2, is that my C seems more refined in several aspects (including how good the trigger is). The trigger on my C is the nicest trigger I've ever tried, even noticably better than my C2.
Dealers in Malaysia sells it for $16000. Peoples still buy it though.

I owned the EDC X9 and sold it, I wasn’t impressed. I own the C2 DUO now. Waaay better shooting gun. EDC X9 is way overpriced! It was nothing special. One caveat to mention, I had to send my EDC X9 back to Wilson Combat, due to constantly failing to go into battery. They had awesome customer support! They were super nice and responsive. They fixed the issue quickly after they had me return the pistol to them.

On my ultra light commander , it was sent to me with several standard features missing, yet was signed off by a full page of Wilson Combat gunsmiths; then the lady who runs customer service was really nasty when I asked her for about getting conflicting answers from her staff twice? I was polite , but wanted to know the correct answer and she was really nasty twice? I went To NightHawk and now Staccotto/ STI and havent looked back? I still like NightHawk Customs though?
STI seems to be more relliability oriented than bling oriented, and bling doesnt keep you alive?

I'm late to this video, but am wondering, what reason(s) do people give for preferring the C2 over the EDC X9?
My wife told me when I buy her a house I can get one. So I am hoping 2022 is my year lol
I would really like to shoot both Shadow Systems and Staccato for comparison , I like the C2 but Shadow is dang good for the price ( dang good ) I own a EDC X9 and I love that as well !
Shadow systems is a striker fire gun so it’s not gonna shoot as good.

@@byronbranch4645 agreed. Ammo is not cheap. Fortunately I have an adequate amount of 9mm currently. But my P30L is still just sitting there looking pretty.
Will this fit a commander 1911 holster?
What does the grip width/circumference and trigger reach compare to? Is it overall smaller in the hand than say, a Glock 19?
It feels about the same to me as to a Glock 19 grips size.
I would have to agree. Put hands on one today and size and weight and grip was very similar to a Glock 19.

I have two sti’s the 2019 p and the double stack guardian. Very very nice shooting pistols. I recently got the WC experion compact double stack and the p is the better pistol of the two for a grand less

Yeah but the experior and edc x9 double stack compact isn’t the direct competitor to staccato p. The c2 would be a more apple to apples comparison. Its like saying a staccato p shoots better than a staccato c2 which we would all expect
@@holdup16 my 2019 p is a 4.15” vs WC 4”. That’s pretty close.
@@jt2475 The staccato p (duty gun like the 19x) is a steel frame, steel slide with a polymer hand guard while the experior, x9 and c2 are steel slide with aluminum frame setup for edc. the c2 is 3.9 inch barrel. the c2 and wc overall length being more exact than the p. The staccato p is similar to a Glock 19x (duty gun like the p)in dimensions vs the wc and c2 are marketed as competitors to the Glock 19 which are compact carry guns not duty guns. I understand what you’re saying but it’s still not a on par comparison it’s like comparing a Glock 43 to a Glock 48 or a Glock 19 of course the 48 and 19 will shoot better than a 43

I had a credit at a shop and ordered a Staccatto P DPO, what is the difference 4.4” vs 4” barrels? Is the C a light weight ?great video, even better shooting , very impressive?
how does it stack up against the BUL SAS II viper?
What duty holsters are available for the c2 and c2 duo with a light? It’s frustrating that this pistol is so badass, yet only the p model is holster is really supported...
Why would you want the C2 over a P for a duty weapon?
There is only 1/2” difference in length. I would think that the P duty holsters would work for the C2?
@@hurt1704 I’m not using it as a duty weapon, my agency won’t allow that, but I will train with it with a duty retention holster, preferably an als since that what I use on duty. There will also be some concealed carry, pending on how it feels concealed.

I am so glad to see that this C2 doesn’t have slide cuts. This is a carry gun… if you’re carrying a CARRY gun every day and it has slide cuts… you may have a bit more than the normal gun guy autism…
I've owned many pistols but I've never owned one that I can shoot like the C2.

At 3:19 into the video “I shoot this better than a stock G19”...but yet he EDC’s a G19? Evidently he must run a non-stock G19 that outperforms the more expensive C2?

Good point -- he had been in contact right after SHOT with a team member who no longer works with the company (and didn't relay the info). We've since been in contact with him to make sure he knew we were appreciative AND able to use his clip.

“So Staccato never responded to me”…. Not something I want to hear from a fairly large gun reviewer who has always loved 1911/2011’s about a 2011 maker especially formally STI.

2 1/2 lb trigger too light for most. Autonomous nervous system needs a little space.
The C2 is a 4 lbs trigger. Only the XL (which is designed for competition) has the lighter trigger.
Why is it so cheap?
I don't doubt that they are a fine gun. what I want to know is why do they have the worst warranty in the business? Really?

I respect his opinion but I don’t he’s being %100 truthful we all know the Atlas Athena should have won. Especially when the Staccato XC and the Atlas Athena share the same competitive market space and not to mention the praises both guns have been given. It’s like saying the staccato c2 is better shooting gun over the staccato xc. I’m not buying into opinions over facts and stats. No shade but there’s a reason why the XC and the Athena are priced over 4K. I’ll happily take an XC for the price of a c2 if overpriced lol.
The C² is a compact carry gun with an aluminum frame. You are talking apples and oranges here, the C² is less than half the cost and probably half the weight at 25 oz.
@@airtightbox I understand but outlaw’s vid wasn’t broken down by price, class whether compact or etc. he simply said the c2 is ranked higher than an Athena as a better gun/shooter which 🤯. I have determined logic only exists for polymer guns but once you get in 1911/2011s logic is out the window anything goes. It’s whether you want a custom 1911/2011 like Les Baer Tri-arc, Wilson Combat or Atlas or a production 2011/1911 like Staccato, Springfield Armory or Bul Armory. Staccato should put the loaded weight on their spec sheet but the c2 weights in at 36oz which is heavier than an edc x9 at 35.5oz Glock 19 at 30 oz all loaded and the edc x9 only have plastic g10 grips and the rest of the gun is steel and aluminum. It would cool if I carry my guns empty but I prefer them loaded

@@airtightbox yeah I didn’t see specs nor was it ever mentioned. It’s not even mentioned in outlaws original review. Check out outlaws channel for the full review it should be titled the same as this one best guns of 2020. If you follow his channel and look at the comments from when he reviewed the edc x9 and experior everyone wanted a apples to apples comparison with the c2 and mind you he has done countless reviews since then so I’m assuming there is a 🤑 reason why we never got that review and why he said the c2 is better than the Athena but I’m only speculating 🤔 nothing is hardcore facts maybe we’ll get that head to head this year.
