Re standing minis on wonky platforms and missing ledges: just glue some extra gubbins protruding from the spaces to make up the levels. Twisty/melted sprue with a little wire drilled into the end makes great looking damaged rebar or just clumps of wires alone are a simple fix. Maybe a tuft of moss if it fits your theme. Gaps in platforms can still be gaps but add a fallen girder or pipe to add more space for placing chonky boys. Done
Thank you for the video and for sharing your thoughts! I wholly agree with your view on the direction GW is taking with Hive Secundus. It seems awesome! The terrain is great - and I will get a box of each; perhaps even two of the Ruined Zone Mortalis...
I find that a lot of the 40K Kill Team terrain is very much suitable for Necromunda as well. Maybe as not as much as the special rules, but rather as game set terrain. Kill Team - Killzone Upgrade: Shadowvaults even had wheel-based HB Sentry Gun. I also have the FW Tarantula Sentry Guns (HB, Twin Las, MM, Hyperios Missile/Command), I bough them when were still very affordable.
Pretty excited for the Secundus season. Getting all my GSC painted up and ready. The terrain looks great and flavorful. Likely going to pass on the turrets though
One thing I haven't seen commented on is the term Ratskin has been removed from the new rulebook. Blindsnake pouches are now made by sump shamans, a we have a dome runner map (no ratskin map).
Not sure about the twisted terrain, but I love the sentry guns. The next expansion for 'Munda is looking interesting. Have you seen the 'Malstrain Coalescence' and read the article?
@@wellywoodwargaming I went and looked at the pictures on my pc and enlarged them. I see now they are very similar, probably the same 3d file starting point, but the back or but of the guns are different
Maybe it's wishful thinking but I do believe the sentry guns will be plastic. It just seems very in keeping with Necromunda to have two duplicates of the same sprue as they've pictured it.
I accidentally made this terrain. I molded my plastic and made copies. The molds distorted the walls and columns a bit plus demolding then distorted them a bit more. I also purposely destroyed 12 of them. So it seems I'm all set.
I like both the terrain and the sentry guns but not willing to pay Australian prices. Scratch building something similar already that will work wonderfully here.
The kit looks great but I don't know if I'll be buying it. If the image is all that's in the box is all we get I think I will pass I didn't pick up the dark uprising box so I don't have the walls that would fill this out.n
I'm usually a yay-sayer, but I really don't get the hype for this terrain? I don't think I could dream up a more boring execution of the concept? Even viewed as an expansion to the existing ZM terrain it's about as uninspired as it possibly could be?

Excited for the terrain, not excited for what it will probably cost 🤣
Turrets seem really fun.
Yeah going by the Ash Wastes stuff it's going to be insane.
Thank you for another fine video.

Really? That sucks a little, I hadn't noticed

There coming out the wall, there coming out the god damn walls!!!

Can't wait to pick these up!
Live premiere. Ooo fancy

I already have that terrain…sitting in my failed 3d print collection.
Hail all
You excited for the new stealers?
@@wizardmanaia4664 Hells YES!
Anyone know the name of the sculptor for the terrain? Thanks for the video! ❤️
The Magos Terrainis is Owen Patten.
That's it! Thanks
Thanks for the info, I really like knowing who sculpted what, wish GW would encourage it.

That just means the new terrain is not for you and there is nothing wrong with that.
@@craigjones7343that's very true and great and each to their own ❤. I just can't help but feel very puzzled.
I disagree… I think this new terrain is brilliant.
