I play Orlock and agree the juves are not good. The M6 would be nice if Orlock didn't have access to Wreckers. It's a real shame. I like to include one just for flavour but I don't expect them to do anything. If they were 10cr cheaper I'd be a little happier, but 35cr is far too expensive when a ganger is 45cr. The tactics card for the free ones is very handy for the activation economy, but buying the juves is a hard sell.

Escher Little Sisters are something I use plenty of too. Eschers gangers arn't exactly expensve, but a Little Sister with a stub gun at 25 is very usefull when you realise 'I need an extra body next game and I'm broke!'

Tbh Corpse Grinders are pretty broken as a gang. The masks can stop whole gangs acturly doing stuff as well..

As a corpse grinder player who is also very often an Arbitrator, I've done a bunch of things to deal with my grinders, mainly nerfing terror to only count in the front arc from the masks as it seems to be the biggest feel bad for other players (as I dont do juve spam and we ban weapon spam in general, rule of 2 for anything you can only get from trading post or anything template or blast). For the juves in my next campaign im strongly considering splitting them into 2 types. One type gets infiltrate, and only gets pistols and close combat. (and maybe goes to 40 creds) The other retains their access to ranged weapons, and loses infiltrate.

I think doing it as a vote system you will find people will vote on the gangs they play, this may slew the result, but the discussion on each it the big take away for me.

Agree on all points. CGC Initiates are just a menace. I have considered completely rewriting the CGC list and making these Prospects with an appropriate cost. Greenhorns should be 25 credits IMHO.

The enlisted Hive Scum are not juve. They don't have the hot headed rule for example. So why the inclusion reason? their cheap cost? i m a bit confused here. Also coup de grace is prononced like grace in english but with the hard a like in french. When you say coup de grace this way it sound for a french ear as coup de gras. So like a strike of the fat. So it's coup de gra ce. Hope it's useful. ;)

I play delaque, love my shadow with web pistol and he often hovers around my overseer leader for the group activation double turn web pistol push. Doesn't get much xp but Seale gets work done! Stub gun,smoke grenades juves are great buddies for cheap photo goggle specialists too. Also, M6 base is awesome!

Might be worth considering how they perform if ppl are playing 2d Vs 3d more often than not. I get you front load that it's subjective to your meta though. Love the video either way. Cheers!

Digger was done dirty. The worst Juve is clearly the Grennhorn 😅 Enlisted Hive scum deserve better man, they are so versatile and have 4+ bs and ws unlike most juves

Cawdor is definitely the best Juve - because of that +3 juves rule. The CGC initiates give them a close second with infiltrating flamers tho, and surprisingly cawdory at that. The Squat diggers should be higher tho, with access to RF2 weapons off the bat, extra RF dice hurts when it's cominatcha. Excellent video, I can't wait for the next one

You dont take basic juves for what they are but for what they become. You need to plan though (keep slots available for special weapons)

As a trad GSC multi skirmish game guy, not for lack of models though, just not into full 40k anymore, although apparently great in 10th ed though. As a cover all gang / army but mainly in Necromunda and less so Killteam, Im annoyed that my gang has been knocked down another peg even though i always like playing them as scrappy underdogs. Second favourite non BIG house gang is also my Outcast gang, damn. But i have acquired most the trad gangs too by box proxy and dont play too competitively if and when at all currently. I guess ill just break out/ make the best Venators and see whos laughing. Just sucks my two favourite lore heavy gangs have become second fiddle even when starting at a big disadvantage.

I love the first choice ! The squat is an investment in the long run. A squat with M5.

Subteks are a trap in a campaign. They will struggle to play objectives because the rest of the gang struggles to support them. These guys are just good for pinning, they will rarely get a kill and thus they will rarely level up. Their stats say "play objectives" but their gear says "stay back and provide support."

Youll be happy too know that i have started a new gang out of "skaven stormvermin, with genestealer neophytes for the arms/weapons and they are looking tasty as. They are hearby called the "cheese stealer cults"

As an Orlock player I can safely say I only built the 3 Greenhorns you can get from a tactics card and otherwise would never take one. I've even sent them home of my settlement spat them out for free to not inflate my gang rating.

I was fully expecting initiates to be number 1 there! Although bonepickers aren't a surprise considering devout masses allowing them to out activate the opponent and get coup de graces all over the place

Squat digger is so awful it only gets any play because of cost, you give them a stub gun, maybe smoke and then see what happens. They give you almost no value after you buy move upgrades except a body to eat charges

Nice 'tier list'; I agree for the most part with all your observations. If I were to nitpick, I'd say you should probably spread out your grades a bit more, since aside for the stand-out bad Juves, 80% of them ended up with a 7-8 'score'; and yes, CGC Initiates are criminally undercosted for their stat line, Infiltrate skill and equipment included in the cost (if costed appropriately they should be 50-60 creds). That said, for the next list, I'd suggest to grade the prospects (basically go from the bottom upwards in the gang hierarchy) since we should probably see them split-up in 2-3 'score groupings' (the 'trash tier' with Forgeborns and Wyldrunners, the 'top tier' with Wreckers and 'hover-boarders' and the 'situational tier' with Psy-gheists, Ridgewalkers and Helamite riders). Tbh I rate the Dust Runner a lot - with blast carbines and their +2 to hit at short range and shock, rerolls with bring it down and they can do crazy damage. In an expensive gang they are a good mid-range option.

Initiates are just broken. SO many nice people leave necromunda because of CGC players ((((

Some of the results were a little surprising. I can't help but wander if the CGC Initiate (we hate Josh 🤪) has not picked up more votes because people know they are a horribly broken gang and so don't want to vote for them... ...but great to see the Nose, err, Bone Picker taking the top spot.
