The Sprites feature is going to be huge for private servers and finding the correct IDs for the job.

Wow, that's awesome. Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to add sprites? Having a personalized interface would be amazing. At least that's what my brain wants after seeing you play around with the widgets. My imagination is inspired. People could share their custom interfaces :o
I've not looked into this at all tbh. I've always hacked around adding sprites to the game. I will take a look into it though and see if it is something I do a video on.

@@Gudi hey chief uhm i got a problem with the dev tools. For some reason I cant launch the client even after installing a newer version. every time i add the argument to the properties a small icon appears as an x on the shortcut and it wont launch. What do?

For the detached camera feature couldn't you do the GPU render option on runelite to be able to see wherever you were you move the detached camera? Just a wonder...

Note: if your target field ends with a closing quote (/RuneLite.exe") you must place the [space]--clientargs AFTER the quote mark or else it will give you an invalid path error.
Do this:
RuneLite.exe" --clientargs "--developer-mode"
Do you think using the detached camera could trigger bot detection system if used extensively? You're able to click further, click in a way u shouldnt be able to etc.
how? you can only click in loaded chunks so its no different to max zooming out

That item ID overlay makes boting extremely easy, instead of having to write the code to detect what item is on the display, all you have to do is write code to love your character and pick up objects, which is trivial

If there is a way to center the HUD then Ill be able to play with triple monitors. the only reason I dont is because the hud is stuck to the edges of the game window.
One thing i’d just like jagex or runelite to do is that we would be able to scale up our HUD. Especially when i’m playing on my pc on my big monitor, it’s kinda annoying my while HUD is so little, I really have to put my head close to the screen to see it properly, which can be annoying occasionally.
You can do that with stretched mode plugin chief . Resizable scaling %
my target location is in parentheses and when I change the target location it tells me its an invalid location. can anyone help?

Yes, they removed this easy access option for developer mode. However, feel free to compile it yourself!
Any idea how to unlock them now?
@@skunktank5751 compile it from source, and then manually run the jar file by passing arguments via cmd line.

Use this instead ( \RuneLite.exe" --clientargs --developer-mode ) worked for me after getting the same error.

Gudi, you should really show the name modifier addon to other streamers, especially those that compete in DMM, this would be super useful for streamers and stuff, or for pvpers running incognito for vids who want to still stream
When did this go outdated and did they take it away from people who already have it?

It is only visible to you, yes. Jagex can probably see changes have been made to the client, though.

Can you do a video on how to code a simple plugin? As someone who has some basic programming knowledge, I don't know where to start with something like RuneLite.
I would, but honestly... The wiki on their site is great for getting started. I may do a video on it in the future, though, since a few people have asked.

Couldn't you get banned for using a developer version of runelite or is this just a dumb question? Just wouldn't wanna get banned on a account I put a lot of time into.
hey the developer options worked for me once but now whenever i log in they dont show up. You know the solution?
Talk to jagex, I'm sure they will tell you no. But no seriously, This is probably why this does not work. It's only good for one login. i just customized the fuck out of my client and relogged.. all that work gone.

That is a bit more of a challenge. There is documentation on the RuneLite github page/website to help you get started.
