- Hey everyone! Thanks for clicking on my video.
Invention machines in Runescape 3 can generate a TON of passive GP; even when you are logged off! In this video I outline the different machine types you can choose from, and show you some optimal layouts for all types of invention levels.
If you enjoyed the video, please like the video and subscribe; it helps a lot!

Does this take into account energy cost?
Hi plop!
I did include them in the calculations, even though I didn't list them in the "costs". The final GP/H and GP/W numbers do include the energy costs.
The thing that impressed me the most about this video was you saying partial potion producer multiple times without fucking up.
Lol! Good things for multiple takes haha.
I really like how you explained this whole thing. Great job!
Thank you so much for you kind words!!
I actually went down the crazy rabbit hole of invention machine where my player own kingdom is actually what fuels my invention machine thank to the maple log but im maxed out constantly and looked at alternative item to dismantle. I used 2 auto alchemiser t2 and 2 dismantler t2(thought i make more on the dismantler that im thinking of discontinuing the alchemiser). With my current setup if i did the math right make about 600m a month.
Wow! Those are huge gains per month! Congrats on finding such a profitable method!
That must mainly be from the disassemblers I am guessing, right?
The disassemblers can be SUPER good I know if you find the right items to put in, I am thinking of doing a follow up talking about them in some detail.
How?
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS indeed. You can dismantle maple log for simple comp but i mainly dismantle arch material for historic comp and the red one from arch as well. You get 10m per big pack of historic and 40 to 50m for the big pack of the red component. I also maxed out on a few other component like delicate, organic and living component so i can mass produce the dissolver as well for 60k each
@@orumde9456 dismantle arch material for a ton of historic and classic comp to make the big crate for 10 and 50m each which can also get you delicate and clear material to make a bunch of dissolver to sell for 60k each.
Great calcs here appreciate the effort brother
Thank you for the kind words! Appreciate you!
how could you exclude things like throwing logs into a disassembler and turning the resulting simple comps into empty charges?
@NexGenration99 Thanks for the comment!
tldr; I have a follow up video covering disassemblers in detail releasing on Friday, where I will talk about making empty divine charges.
I have a habit of going into probably too much detail on things. I felt if I was going to talk about disassemblers, I needed to do it "right", considering all of the possible inputs/outputs. I have a more detailed look into them coming out in a few days, where I find that making empty divine charges and liquid patch bombs is (as far as I can tell) the best usage of disassemblers, and is comparable in profits to the other machines.
Hey, nice video, did you do any Excel for calculations? I would appreciate it if you could share.
Thanks so much!
I definitely can share on excel, but I don't think RUclips will let me upload the file.
I will check if there is a workaround here, and let you know!
You forgot the dissasemblers u can run max 5 machines lvl 2 running arch mats makes around 60m a week right now
Thanks for the comment! Disassemblers are awesome machines to run for sure!
I omitted them from this discussion because I think they are a bit more complicated and didn't want to bloat the length more than it was. I actually have a follow-up video planned just on disassemblers, which hopefully I can get out soon!
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS ya don't follow the wiki on diss you have to dove down the rabbit hole of components to get true profit from arch mats
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS I look forward to it!
Making money off disassembling is when I finally used advanced algebra in real life lol. Because you can only value cost compare one comp from dissing on the wiki or with basic math you have to start setting up series of equations and multi variable replacements. Rabbit hole is right because then you have to keep checking with price fluctuations of both every material and every output.
Tl;dr use every part of the buffalo when both picking what to diss assemble and what to make. Maple logs into empty charges IS a perfectly good baseline though and generally functions like a better alch machine but I personally CANNOT give up my alch machine to process things like elite dungeon relics and Rex loot
how do you get 6 i only have 3 machines
Hmmmmm. Can you only find 3 hotspots, or will it not let you build more than 3?
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS just wont let me build more
These are the things that come to mind for me. Is it possibly any of the following?
1.) Are you attempting to build a machine that would take you past your power allotment?
2.) Are you attempting to build three alchemists?
3.) Are you trying to build a tier 2 machine before having a tier 1 machine already in the spot?
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS im 200m invention exp
@@BlueSmokeGamingRS i have alchemiser auto disasembler and potion producer
Wait do you're only making 5m a week?
It depends on what your invention level/setup is.
If you check out the tables near the end of the video, you can see how the GP/W scales up from lower amounts (A couple M per week) all the way up to 30M per week!
