- I love shooting in the rain. In this video, I use the A7C + Rokinon/Samyang 45mm f1.8 on a rainy day street photography walk in NYC.
-
All the images in this video were shot on the Sony A7C and edited with my preset system. It works great for both RAW files from cameras and JPGS from phones. Check it out here: www.azvisuals....

Who else loves shooting in the rain? What's your favorite type of weather for photography?
Monsoons and hail!!!!!!!!!!!
its raining out side and too tempted to take my a7C as I was not sure about it being water proof and your video gave me some confidence :)..........
That was one of the best POV photography videos that i have ever seen! Just such a nice mood and the photos turned out great! I love the pictures on the ferry! Maybe you can make a video on a snowy day? I feel like the world is a completely different place when everything is white. Keep up the great work! ❤
I've had the A7C for a while now, it's nice to see you showcase how good it is as it doesn't seem to get a lot of love when compared to the flagships. Your editing is amazing as well, definitely will be subscribing for more photowalks!
Love this whole vibe, man (especially the background lofi hip-hop). Thank you for taking the time and effort to design this experience for the rest of us.
I've been lightly trying street photography for about 15 years. I started out with a vintage Olympus film camera, and then went into the first Ricoh GR Digital. I recently picked up a Sony A7C for similar reasons as you-wanted a compact full-frame that would work with my e-mount lenses.
Now, my A7R3 will be a dedicated video rig, and the A7C will be my street rig. Really looking forward to taking this inspiration from you and getting out on some chill walks to meditate and center myself through street photography.
Sir. A7c or a7riii which camera best photography reults..amazing sharpnes best dyminc range excilent lowlight image....a7c or a7riii...please guide me
@@srjeetraam1364 depends on your use. If street / mobile photography, A7C. If studio, the A7iii.
@@synth-studio i want faimly photography Indoors Outdoor in the mountains. best coloure detailng...a7c..a7r3..a7iii...give top class reults like nikon d850
@@srjeetraam1364 R seriesis king of photography.. Rest 2 is good for both.
Loving it! Do you think shots like that could be possible with an old nikon d40x with like a 18-35 and an 70mm 1.8?
What's that little thumb grip you have?
Good stuff but black and white works best for street photogrsphy. Try to mix up some of your edits for the scenes where color isn't a focal point or obvious/ pronounced. Keep it up. I've been trying to decide if I want an a7iv or a7c for street. I already love my a6500 / a6000 / NEX-7 when I do street. Keep it up.
appreciate the feedback! seems like you got a nice well rounded kit
Are you going to get the A7CII or A7CR?
Nice to see another video, but please head out for some New York snow photography when you have snow, I've been thinking about that video since you uploaded it!
thank you! can't wait for the snow
curious - do you think there could ever be privacy issues taking and posting photos of people without their permission? photographing people on the street is something I was thinking of doing as I try and work on street photography, but I also don't know if I can convince myself it's ethical. if you ever thought of this, what was your rational for it being okay?
That's a great question and largely it depends on the local laws in your area. Around here in NY, public space is public so no issues. But if someone were to ask me to delete their photo I probably would just out of respect. Unless it's a super unique once in a lifetime shot then I'd try to negotiate with them
@@azvisuals makes sense! Thanks for the reply and I love your stuff. Been binge watching your POV walks lol
excellent video thank you for posting, very informative and great images too . . . I am buying a7c tomorrow but with the kit lens . . . 24mm and perhaps 85mm in the next few months
Isn’t the Samyang 45mm 1.8 not weather sealed? How did it hold up in the rain?
This was a fun video, Alex! You got some nice images!
Many of the pictures could be postcards or even calendars. You asked the man if you could take his picture. Do you have to ask people for permission to take their pictures?
Always looking fwd to ur vids bro. Good perspective 👏
These videos are incredible and very educational! Keep up the great work man
