    I have made very many wooden soap moulds tweaking each one till I have come up with one that suits me. I use latch on the ends to keep the side closed. Never thought of Velcro so am going to modify the moulds yet again. Lovely soap but is smells just gorgeous. Thank for the tip.

    Hi Dean,never see you make CP soap before,looked real nice flow,which you would have given the recipe,i really struggle. • @sabnazzy

    thanks for the link Dean have copied and pasted the recipe as printer didnt open up but thats fine i now have it,and do you take a part of your olive oil to mix the mica? if not how do you do it,not good at discounting as i have dyslexia so the simple the instructions the better. Also no partner no problem you will be completely safe with me a 65yrs grandmother,and no i am not a couger 🤣 and one l;ast thing i promise, what quantities of Titanium Dioxide do you mix with water ratio like 1 tablespoon to 1/4 cup of water? whatever you use. thank you so much

    • @DeanWilson
      @DeanWilson  3 года назад

      Yes, I take a few table spoons of oils before adding the lye then when im ready to use the mica I add it into that 2 table spoons of oil, mix well and add to batter. Unless im doing 1 color soaps where I add the mica to the all the oils before the lye.
      For my TD, I use 1 tea spoon TD, 2 tea spoons HOT water. This lets it mix in quicker. But on the flip side this can also create rivers and sometimes crack the batch from overheating, so if hot water doesnt work then try cold water.
      This is for TD and water, there is other TD for just oils. So make sure it works with water.

  • @sabnazzy
    @sabnazzy 3 года назад +1

    Me again,i just went to have a look at your link and see you are on Etsy but you dont ship overseas,that is a shame because people from all over the world watch your ytube so maybe you might want to consider shipping worldwide,anyway i am only over in New Zealand and surely after all your hardwork you must be due for a holiday so pop on over 😁 after all we are pretty safe here.

    • @DeanWilson
      @DeanWilson  3 года назад

      I do a 7 soap to the USA/CA at the moment. Because shipping prices are tricky. 10 grams over on the package and the shipping price doubles.
      Never been to NZ before so I might have to visit but for the moment with the virus running wild and income low I have to stay put.
