Forza Horizon 1: Playing Multiplayer Before It's Shutdown (August 22nd 2023)

Today is the day that the Forza Horizon 1 Multiplayer Servers will still be available. So I decided to hop onto Free-Roam for one last time before the online servers are shut down.

Just checked thw game and the servers are gone but you can still play in matches as servers are hosted on the host console, so despite all efforts horizon 1 still lives on 👍

@@davidsobrito2790 yes mate it might come up with an error that returns you to the menu once or twice but it will work eventually

I'd have been all over this had I known. Good times were certainly had, that is for sure. I still remember when I had first played the demo prior to getting it, and sometimes recreate the moment in the other Horizon games as well. I remember a nighttime drive in a red Evo X, just listening to Pulse and loving all of the stuff that I loved from Forza Motorsports in a freeroam environment. I'm so glad to have been around for this game.

my favorite game mode for this game was cat and mouse (or whatever it's called, that's what i remember), i still remember ways to hop out of the map and stuffs.

I was in that room with spaceman but sadly was afk (sleeping) when all the footage was recorded. The plan was to keep the room up for as long as possible. Good footage and glad to see the game is still working after the 22nd.

Horizon 2 severs didn't even work before the shutdown for like 1 year or so. The only thing you could do was rivals. They did fh2 dirty with that honestly.

Yeah, I Tried to go onto FH2 and play some online freeroam with friends before they officially shut down, but it could never connect. Liveries did still work for me on FH2, but it was very inconsistent with connection already.
