  • In episode 3 we document the "barter bobber build" A 1976 Harley Davidson Ironhead;
    a rigid frame, springer front end chopper. I bartered for this bike and I think the deal worked out. I did may cosmetic changes and improvements to get the bike to this stage. She's ready for her next home!

    Crazy how just cleaning something and just adding a few tasteful add in’s can really make a bike. My last bike I got super cheap. Honestly thought it was just going to be parts. After getting it home though and pulling things a part and just cleaning everything up from neglect it started to just glow. Turned out to be one of my nicest bikes and it gets ridden lots.

    Love what you did with that, and did it the old skool bobber way. Thanks for the great ideas. Best wishes and stay safe and well to you all in the US 🇺🇸 and your families from England UK 🇬🇧.

    This is great man, especially the seat. It’s nice to see people still doing leather work and considering how well that seat came out I’d say you’re pretty good doing it. Leatherwork and building motorcycles are two cool skills, I’ve grown up around a lot a cowboy culture so leather work was something I enjoyed. Motorcycles, on the other hand are completely new to me, I just started building a bike about 5 months ago and I hope it’ll come out as great as yours did.

    This is dope brotha. I just traded a couple pistols for a 97 sportster as well. It’s a great feeling building a Harley and not really have a lot of $ in it

    I am definitely enjoying the look of this sporty, very tastefully done my man! I’d love to see the primary and oil filter blacked out as well … but that’s just my taste . In no way am I inferring that she doesn’t look sweet just the way she sits. Very well done 👍

    Not a Harley guy but that's a NICE bike. My aunt has a 76 or 77 Sportster that she wants me to bob for her. I'm glad i'm not the one one who recycles Couch leather either, I've been doing it for years. Why pay $200 for a leather pelt when people are giving away/selling leather couches, love seats and couches dirt cheap on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace?
