Exploring colourful LUNENBURG town | Hidden places | Road Trip from Halifax | Nova Scotia, Canada

- In this travel vlog, we visited the 1753-founded town that is the most colourful in all of #Canada. Come along on my 100 KM journey from Halifax to this historic village, where I saw vintage parking meters, marvelled at the beauty of the south shore, visited Mahon Bay, and visited Blue Rocks town.
Canada's southernmost point in #NovaScotia is home to the town of #Lunenburg. With its picturesque highways, it's the ideal road trip from Halifax. I started strolling on the boardwalk along the waterfront, then I visited the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, however it was closed as it operates seasonally. Colourful houses, boats and red coloured ticket counters are truly admirable. Just before heading downtown I saw a memorial which was dedicated to those people who never returned back from the sea.
As I strolled through #downtown Lunenburg, I noticed a whole street lined with eateries and cafes. Since I don't eat non-vegetarian food, I became excited as I read about Falafel and Pizza at a seaside café, so of course I had to have lunch there. I went back to the waterfront after taking a ton of photos and videos, and I had the opportunity to speak with a local who gave me some information about this charming old town, including its distillery and second-largest fish processing plant. He also advised me to check out some of the neighbouring towns, like Blue Rocks.
I took a scenic drive to the village of #BlueRocks, which is located approximately 5 KM from Lunenburg. Surprisingly, the map led us to a random location with residences nearby; this particular tourist destination does not exist. After that, I turned around and started looking for a place to park on the road. To my surprise, I discovered that there is a place to park on the main road-it's just in front of the sea. I heard nothing but the sound of the waves as I walked across the road and jumped some rocks and saw heaven. At last, I took a stop at Mahone bay which is another great old town famous for its church, unique gift shops and artisans. I went exploring in the #MahoneBay Island Association, and after passing through a few trees, I thought I was in heaven. There was a stunning beach, a view of the town from another direction, waves, a sunset, and other things. I had now seen all three of the locations on my road trip. Lunenburg is a beautiful area to chill out and go on excursions, but don't forget about the other two locations that are located along the way.
