I love ava cuz you literally get to enjoy the moment of joy when you realise you get to make a lot of people happy with the music and event which you have set up and coordinated
I’m 19, i have an experienced on being a AV Technician for about 2 years in our school events. I just want to explore more about it. Thanks for the information you’ve shared.
Very well spoken. I’m a lead in the MIS/Systems department building huge customized builds in the stagehand industry and have done A/V before. It’s a crazy industry and I love it!
I’m just about to start out being a full-time production technician and I’m extremely excited for it! What you described sounds exactly like what the local company does, and I’ll definitely be the youngest guy on the team, but I’m approaching it open minded and super eager to get to know the 11 other staff members. I’m glad I put my professional music experience on my resume, it certainly helps as a sound engineer getting to know both sides of the microphone and having a refined ear for musical elements.
i'm starting out in this field with only a few years of experience but I've really learned a ton in that short time. My specific dream job is to help with the production for major wrestling companies. these employers that turned my resume down don't know what tf they are missing out on.
I worked as a Audio Visual technician for a company but it felt like a pizza joint running around the city silly setting up equipment a 24 hour service they advertised as.....In wellington New Zealand
@Kettner Creative: What suggestions or advice would you give someone who is interested in just setting up things at a place of employment and school? Also, do you know anything about the home theater installation occupation?
I got an experience for last 8years performing as an av tech /vj i wish to get job abroad. mostly work with corporate events .. good with live concert s .. does anyone over here can help me
Thank. I enjoy your lecture But I have some questions 1. I want to know more about AV and setting up the equipment, placement of speakers that will not give feedbacks? 2. Connect from laptop, PC, to projector and give sound?
Trade, I’m currently an AV technician and have worked for 2 different companies and they’ve taught me everything hands on and now I’m about to get into programming.
Did you have 0 experience before getting into those 2 companies? Or just some knowledge that you learned on your own time online or doing thigns for family that you could prove when you got to those companies?@@xavierostolaza6559

Great Questions. It depends on your employer. Some companies love certificates, some do not. In my experience, nice people who get along with the team and have the ability to problem solve and understand signal flow go a lot further than those who have a bunch of certificates.
There’s a lot of AV companies. Live Nation, AEG, Insomniac requires more experienced AV Technicians and engineers. Freeman and Encore has plenty of entry level work to learn as an apprentice or trainee.
I am looking to grown my skill set. I have done AV in Dallas at the convention as an assistant. If your company travels around to set up for shows. Can you contact me?

Tyyy
You're welcome.
Hey bro from Sony
Thanks for the comment
Smile on your face? No...I get paid to work not smile 😅
Customer service is a big part of an AV technician's work though.
