- I have been working as an audio visual technician for years, and have slowly collected a mix of tools that help me when I work. Many of these are from Amazon. A few things in the video aren't listed on Amazon, or were "available" at the time of posting.

If you shop on Amazon, for no additional cost, you can help my channel get even better. Please follow this link below, it will not add 1¢ to your total, but I get a % of the sale. Even if you don't buy the item, buying anything else on Amazon during the session counts! If you are watching this on your phone, and it opens it the phone browser. At the very top of the screen there should be a link to open in the Amazon app if you prefer.

Great video man, I am a starting tech and this helped me limit my tools to necessary ones, thank you
Thanks, glad it helped. It was a process of trial for me. I tried a few different bags, but this one has worked well for me. I hope I start getting actual shows again. I was originally intending for the main focus of the channel to be more like this, but it seems to have drifted more to the video production side.
Brilliant! Thank you very much for posting this👊
Thanks, and you're Welcome. It hasn't changed for 2021 as I haven't worked an A/V show since last March.
As an AV tech myself I found a quick access "holster" for my multi-tool made it more useful than having to open a pouch. If you think you don't use the multi-tool often enough and it's not a cheap unit then look at a better holster to make it easier for you to get access to when it could be useful.
Nice!! I'm going back to the industry now that its opening up a bit. And your bag is exactly what i need. . Nice info.
Cool! I'm glad the video was helpful. It went through several versions, but this has worked well for me. I haven't worked freelance since last February, but hopefully I'll get back into it next year. I'll also start making new content in my new studio soon too.
Question, how do you get started in the industry like I have no experience at all
I would add my most used tool Leatherman Wave + and Bit set.
You have huge knowledge sir,
Im just a amateur in this field
Thanks, It comes from years of practice and working in the field for several years. Unfortunately, I'm not working any freelance still. Hopefully it will pick up in the fall!
What’s the model of the c wrench
the Adjustable wrench? LW200008-012017, but it seems it's unavailable from Amazon currently. I bought it just before Covid stopped the shows I used to work, so I never really got to use it on a show. here is the link: amzn.to/2TjN4aU
Great video! I’m hiring in Nashville! Get on our part time on-call list and earn your freelance rate with the same flexibility. Steady work!
