- Thanks to an enemy control code, I make Hardin trade his Darksphere over to a generic enemy unit. This means we can fight him and actually win in theory during Chapter 8. Just to make things a bit more interesting, we're in Lunatic Reverse mode. lol
To make things easier, I used cheat codes to get stats maxed out on my units. Realistically, you won't be powerful enough to survive Gradivus and Hardin's amazing stats.
Obviously, the game never intended for this to happen in the first place, so it is amusing to see it happen.
Another potential victory is to stall it out until Hardin runs out of Gradivus uses, and then go all-out on the offensive... if you can even damage him though.

If you kill Hardin in this chapter, what happens when you fight him for real in Chapter 20?
Nothing happens since the game never meant for this to happen
In Chapter 3x, you get dialogue out from Clarisse if you engage her, even though she leaves on Turn 1. You don't get a Warp staff until the Ice Dragon Shrine chapter, so why did IS still give her dialogue?

Huh, I guess that makes sense, but you'll need to over level your Avatar to kill Clarisse in one round of combat
The real limiting factor is getting 2 B rank staff users for Again at that point. You can easily get MU or Palla to become a dracoknight (the only class accessible that can reach Clarisse in turn 1 with 2 Again uses) strong enough to 1RKO Clarisse (maybe you need to rig a critical hit or forge a weapon; not necessary on normal mode) with statboosters (like the Lunatic statboosters shop) or the arena.
Hardin would be no match for Arden, though.

Palladin is actually legit. Keeps her from getting doubled by chap 23 Fire Dragons, as well as chap 21 wyverns, and she gets a higher HP + Res base.

Linkarlos64 Its impossible. His armor protect him from any attacks expect Ragnell is the only weapon can piece his armor plate.
I'm pretty sure that even if you managed to kill him, the game would soft-lock or crash

There's no quote for defeat. Even if you manage to use the jump chapter hack and grab Ragnell and Promote Ike, it will only play BK's "Oh Ike, you actually survived" quote, because he does not have a defeat quote.
He does in Radiant Dawn Part 3. It's actually quite a touching moment with him and Micaiah.

A team of busted, probably hacked units struggles to beat him. At the same time, I guess it’s Lunatic mode…which I’m not sure why anyone would want to play a Fire Emblem game on a higher difficulty.

This is a reason why Archers are more valuable in FE12 than other games, that and the bunch of flying enemies they throw at you.
So even with hacked stats, marth still sucks against a real challenge in any of his own games. Nice.
