I watched this video earlier and I thought it was cool, now 4 hours later I’m obsessed I want one so bad, two actually, one gloss back and one old looking patina
It's about time! I'll be watching for them to release the body separately as I'm sure many others will be! Francis at RC review removed two springs at Each corner and removed the inner springs from the shocks. It dropped the ride height about 1/2". I love the new body mounts too!
The buckets and center council is wrong. I grew up Chevys of the 70s and 80s and have had a few. The square body Is my favorite truck. Pretty much all of them had bench style seat....but still...I can't complain about this one. RC4WD did us Chevy fans justice. Very well done.
Very nice looks better with out the sliders , just wish the doors opened , if they sold this as a kit with opening doors and not an RTR I would love it
About freak'n time we get an actual American truck...not a ute. My problem with every Trailfinder is I pretty much rebuild the whole thing with better axles, Driveshafts and completely new electronics. After having a very early Trailfinder(11+ years old), and completely upgrading the stock axles to handle power and they did last 7 or so years....but the lack of steering and steering hole wearing out....it nice to see them throw on different axles.
I like it. But they should be come up with a 79-86 model already. Maybe after this model that would be a great update on the this model and even a 87 would be nice.
Hell yeah. Great review. I just picked up a blazer body to make a truck. Also got the xtra cab in another deal. So i have everything to make the k10 haha. Might just sell all that stuff to score this with the correct Axle’s. Looking forward to the build. First mod is to cut out the door windows.
Heck Yeah Joshua 🎊 Congratulations on the New RC4WD Square Body 💯 They Done a Great Job on This Model Especially being a RTR (Ready to Re-Vamp) there's always something to make it into the Model You want it to be, but This is a Great Starting Platform ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend 🏁🎊🏁
nope. no c/k ever came with buckets console blazer/sub only (not sure about the 3+3 though), there were a few companies that did an aftermarket bucket console that you could dealer order though. also the hidden gas door was added in 79 apparently. great breakdown vid! makes me miss my old shorty a lot! overall its a pretty decent representation of a pre 80 k10
The Chevrolet's of that year are supported to be 5 lugz pretty sure on that not 6 lug. Great video and its about time Rc4wd got this about spot on perfect!!! Cwnt wairlt to add one to my collection as well, jusr a bench seat proper rear bumper and some little bits here ans there be perfect!!!
Hi there from the UK loving this truck I've never owned an rc4wd truck I was wondering is this the same wheelbase as the scx 10.2 or a little smaller many thanks 👍👌
For sure the Rc4wd sticker on windshield has to go! Question? Why won’t Rc4wd put the correct setup in front with the hanger up front and shackle in rear on axle? The color is a beautiful blue and I really do like the truck! It looks almost like the same blue on the Limited Blazer too be honest.. when you say thick paint, how many coats do you think? Does Rc4wd add a clear coat to it? nice truck bro thanks for your review.
I’m pretty sure they won’t change the from leaf hangers ever for cost reasons. I have never seen that blazer in person but it does look like the same. I’d just be guessing but may 3 coats of pain plus clear. Or just 1 with a heavy clear cost. It has a little gold pearl in it too🤘
@@RCeverydaywell it’s not but probably like 5-10 bucks to put the correct shackle setup on it. They are suppose to be King of scale and can’t get it right. Tamiya got it right years ago, and too be honest everyone has copied Tamiya in some way. I love RC4WD and have lots of it, but TAMIYA is king of RC
Hey bro I bought one myself and think it’s really neat and cool looking! My only gripe is in one area of my fender looks like my clear coat had scratches in it. I bought some meguiars scratch polish and most came out of it after a little elbow grease! Did you notice any blemishes in your paint or clear ? Or have you ever noticed any blemishes in their painted bodies? Just wondering my painting skills sux lol
Mine came in absolutely perfect. I’m terrible at hood paint jobs. No way I could recreate this finish. This one is far better and glossier than any of the older finished bodies of theirs I’ve seen.
@@RCeveryday I buffed most of it out but still a tiny bit. Would you send it back or just keep it? Everything else is great. Just wondering your thoughts? Sometimes their quality is not the best……
They are built into the bed floor, could paint them black fairly easily. I know CChand makes some plates for other rc4wd bodies to hide the chassis in the back, not sure if they have any for this one yet.
Not at first. After a few drives the leaves soften up even more and it will settle a little bit. With this new material they use 2 leaves per corner is about perfect for the weight of the trucks.
I watched this video earlier and I thought it was cool, now 4 hours later I’m obsessed I want one so bad, two actually, one gloss back and one old looking patina
RC4WD should start making sheet metal bodies. Dents, scratches , rust etc would add that extra element of realism. Were ready for the next step
No one can afford them now that would be more money
One of the best scale RTR out there.
You need to get some warn locking hub wheel nuts for the front wheels. I think RC4WD sells them.
Yep, this is the next one, looking forward to see what you do with yours… Are you listing RC4WD?... Long Bed!!

Damn. I gotta get me this. I really would like a long bed version tho.
Me too!

Nice! Its about time!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it 😃
If you change it go with the satin USC spray max matte! Hard clearcoat
Very nice looks better with out the sliders , just wish the doors opened , if they sold this as a kit with opening doors and not an RTR I would love it
We NEED ALONG BED... PLEASE RC4WD. I would love to build a long with a scale v8
Had to stop the video to go order one🤣👍🏽 Can’t wait to see what you do with it. 👍🏽

Wow that’s beautiful, I have the limited addition blue with white camper top blazer came with the aluminum V8 Engine. Back in 2017.
A medium saddle tan for the interior would look real good up against that blue. And that is a good looking blue👍
I like it. But they should be come up with a 79-86 model already. Maybe after this model that would be a great update on the this model and even a 87 would be nice.
That is so sweet , had to order one . On pre order. Told my wife that this would be the last one again. Ha ha
Awesome new Edition ❤
Yup gotta have it!
We need some rc everyday scale stickers!!! Lol

I’ll take two🤣😂🤣😂🤙Wow what a nice kit
I'm looking at this body and thinking crew cab long bed dually lowered.
Nice review. Looking forward to the series you gonna make on this. Keep em rolling
If I get one I wanna try to figure out how to get the doors to open and then it’ll be almost perfect

Appreciate you sharing
Love those rims and tires
That truck is great. In fact I hope to be able to acquire it this weekend. Exelente video..!
Good video rc 🥰
I'm in when they release this as a kit
Very nice machine ...
That’s a cool truck dude!
Great looking truck!
I wish the door open 😊
cause you re awesome and got one dose
it fit on a scx10 iii please and thank you for info

All the 4x4 half tons were 6 lug that I have ever seen. I was really hoping for a bench seat too, at least we can get those aftermarket.
@@RCeveryday yah maybe I'm thinking 2wd I was sure they were 5 on 5
Look like a killer kit
Nice color
That is looking sweet I love it 👍👍😎
This is so badass man. I’ve waited for these for a long time. I know we can build them easily enough but still haha
Gas doors started in 1979 so it is correct
Crewcab on a CEN chassis?
Hi there from the UK loving this truck I've never owned an rc4wd truck I was wondering is this the same wheelbase as the scx 10.2 or a little smaller many thanks 👍👌
The wheelbase on this is longer,
You sure you did not reverse mounted them??

Because it has such a nice interior will you try to open the doors...
Oh no, I am not a fan of opening doors or the work it takes to do it.
Understandable it would take a ton of work thankyou for the comment love the work you do and I am a big up here from Canada 🇨🇦
That is a cool looking set up. A crew cab would be amazing. What chassis is the lowrider on?
The tan one is on a stretched tamiya tt02, full build is on the channel

@@RCeveryday Thanks for the Info!@
Have you had any issues with the tyres rubbing on the leafs when turning? I just put K44’s in my tf2 and they rub pretty bad
Ive had it on some before, just adjusting the steering setting on the radio to not allow it to turn so far.
Are these the 1.7" BFG KMs stretched on 1.9" wheels?
nope. brand new tires.
@@mjderstine Brilliant! Will look out for them.
Question what's it cost for the truck very interested going in for open heart surgery give me something to do
These are $549 I think. Rc4wd.com
Muito bom o vídeo amigo está bem realista 👍👍👍👏😃😍🤩
Hi what brand name is as I can’t locate it
Rc4wd.com
Are the tires 4.19
3.75"
@@RCeveryday thanks
*GREAT* Chevrolet 🇷.🇨
Still c 10 body but k10 chassis kinda
How much does it cost
$549 use the promo code in the video description to get free shipping
Am I the only one who wants to move the rear axle back like a quarter inch? I feel like the rear wheels are not centered in the wheel well.
Once the leaf springs soften up it shifts back to where it needs to be. They always look off right out of the box.
It would be good if it was not rc4wd 👎🏻
Comes with hardened cvds in the front.
Does adding or subtracting leafs to the spring pack make a difference in lift height?
Not at first. After a few drives the leaves soften up even more and it will settle a little bit. With this new material they use 2 leaves per corner is about perfect for the weight of the trucks.
