Had my tf2 rtr for about 7 years and other than electronics and a tool steel rear drive shaft and some rear leafy springs, it’s been dialed and I’ve never had an issue with it. Literally hundreds of real miles! One of the best trucks ever sold!!!
@@trevorcourt1403 yeah it definitely has its nuances but that’s why I chose it, I buy rcs for the idea behind them moreso than the actual performance of the vehicle. I like that weird ish, and I just fell in love with how scale the tf2 was. Cooler than any axial lol
Love seeing trucks in the mud! I keep a battery powered Scotts brand sprayer with me to clean off the truck on site if I think it's going to get muddy. Not a ton of pressure, but cleans them off well enough.
I really like that paint they used, changed tones based on the lightning it seemed. I assume the blue would do the same. A bit noisy, but that doesn't bother me too much. Thanks Greg!
Nice Review Greg 💯 This RC4WD K10 Scottsdale is a Nice Looking Hardbody Scaled Out "Trail Truck" that would look at home on a moderate woodland drive, don't think it would be good for Rock crawling without some updates, but with the price vs Redcat for comparison, a Hobbiest would really want to have a leaf spring set-up for their collection... ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend
One thing I’ve noticed about RC4WD is there’s way more scale detail’s and already has accessories included right out of the box whereas other brands don’t which then makes you have to spend more money on top of what you’ve already spent.
Solid review as always Greg, and it is nice to see they are finally making the changes on their vehicles. I still think they are a little high on the price point considering the durability isn't as good as cheaper platforms.
Thanks! It was nice to see some changes, a few more would have been great. Yeah, a bit on the high side. But they’re a business and they can charge what they feel fit to run their business, pay employees, market, support the RC community/ events (unlike many cheaper brands) and all that other good stuff that gets worked into pricing.
Something about RC4WD I just can't put my finger on. Really good scale models but the performance just isn't there. Great review Greg👍 Your final thoughts was right where my mind was at.
Could you list your crawl spots for us CT people can hit up (if they're public that is). Getting bored of the normal Guiffrida, Black Pond, Lighthouse Park, etc.
Looking at it run its a little poor, slow speed modulation, suspension still looks stiff and tyres look to hard, oh and no 2 speed trans or sellectable 2-4wd or diff lockers, kind of expensive, wheels look nice and all metal axles and hubs are nice
@@jacojojo42if your seriously trying to compare something from rc4wd to something sold at Walmart maybe it's time you just crawl back into your hole and never come out again, that's the stupidest thing I've heard all day,
Lol, so you'd rather have a less scale trx4 which costs even more right ? .... Rightttt.... 600 for a tf2 is a great price. I spent the same on an RTR scx10 iii, I'd rather have a tf2 anyday
Not to brag but I 2 real trail trucks one a s10 1ton frame 12in lift full exo cage and the other a tube buggy (rock bouncer) and a rc trx4 chevy and here iam checking this thing out..I have a love for offroading and this thing is worth every penny to me

Nice to hear because a lot of people are negative about the tf2

@@wraithmedaberry5795 I’ve just bought one so good to hear
Crazy that it's taken this long for RC4WD to do a proper leaf spring setup
Not “proper” imo. The Toyota got it closer.
Nice, I've been eyeing the blue one for a while as a nice trail truck.
Great review as always Greg 👊 It really is beautiful
Your mountain spot is so relaxing, besides upgrading and maintenance a good drive is a must!!

RC4WD does make cool trucks 💯
Big like on this truck excellent video adventure 🙏

Wow… you drove the heck out of that truck bro… it’s a real scale(for what it is)model truck that Gets It Done! Very cool
$569.00 is nuts!
I finally ordered one!
Cool Truck ❤🎉

Love a Chevy out in the wild. Looks good
Yeah loving this thing👍
The detail 👌
love the mud !
I was so lucky to get tf2 k5 blazer limited edition last year and still running🎉
This is nice ive been looking into getting a chevy crawler but was wondering if they have one with the 90s k1500 body
Beauitful vehicle ❤
cool truck!

Colors were a bit off on this video… the truck looks awesome!
Yeah, tried a new camera and a new editing program at the same time and all didn’t go as planned.
Build a suburban please ! Also a Ford release would be cool ,

This spot is Lovers Leap. It’s a small spot but I make the best of it.
Can the motor and gear be upgraded for a bit more speed?
Yup, it can!
Video really amplify the driveline or is it just noisy?
It’s noisy, but the camera/mic close up does boost the noise a little more.
is it more red orange?
No, it’s red. Between a new camera and my first time with a new editing program, I had a tough time with the video colors.
If only the gears wouldn't explode its a cool looking truck it just everything u need to upgrade turns me from buy it i rather build my own.
Is it traxxas?
RC4X4 is the company
RC4WD. Not RC4x4.
Why is the distributor cap on the back of the engine? On cheverolets it sits up front
No its on the back ford does and the 350ci and all varieties are in back
@@just-in-time6069 well I’ll be
Fords are in front, Chevys are in the back.
you call that mud??
It’s not M&M’s
The driveshaft angles still suck.

very cool crawler and nice video stay tuned my friend🤟🛻🤟
It looks like Traxxas is still better…
So, they did a shackle reversal on the new Toyota, but not the K10? 🤦🏼♂️ RC4WD get so close, and then screws it up.
Wayyyyy overpriced. I can get 3 FCXs for this price. Unreal
Get a lot of match box cars too 😊
I've got 3 FCXs, 4 before 1 went up in flames. The reliability has been poor. I just ordered an RC4WD K10.
After driving this, my 3 FCX10 Blazers just sit. No comparison.
Lol,now that's funny, did you even watch the video!?
Not bragging but I can afford several of these but this is way overpriced. It’s the principle of not getting screwed.
it’s should be $50.00 walmart has the same thing!!
@jacojojo42 those pieces of junk aren't near the quality of this thing. Lol
