- Wait, didn’t we already see a RC4WD Trail Finder 2 K10 Scottsdale? Yes, but that was last year. For 2024, RC4WD made a few mods to the truck and their worth seeing. Beyond some new colors for the licensed Chevy body, this new RTR will handle and look better and of course Greg will go into what that means in the video. After the workbench chat the truck goes outdoors for some fun on the trails, rocks and even mud!

Not “proper” imo. The Toyota got it closer.
Had my tf2 rtr for about 7 years and other than electronics and a tool steel rear drive shaft and some rear leafy springs, it’s been dialed and I’ve never had an issue with it. Literally hundreds of real miles! One of the best trucks ever sold!!!

@@trevorcourt1403 yeah it definitely has its nuances but that’s why I chose it, I buy rcs for the idea behind them moreso than the actual performance of the vehicle. I like that weird ish, and I just fell in love with how scale the tf2 was. Cooler than any axial lol

Nice Review Greg 💯 This RC4WD K10 Scottsdale is a Nice Looking Hardbody Scaled Out "Trail Truck" that would look at home on a moderate woodland drive, don't think it would be good for Rock crawling without some updates, but with the price vs Redcat for comparison, a Hobbiest would really want to have a leaf spring set-up for their collection...

Love seeing trucks in the mud! I keep a battery powered Scotts brand sprayer with me to clean off the truck on site if I think it's going to get muddy. Not a ton of pressure, but cleans them off well enough.

I really like that paint they used, changed tones based on the lightning it seemed. I assume the blue would do the same. A bit noisy, but that doesn't bother me too much. Thanks Greg!

Solid review as always Greg, and it is nice to see they are finally making the changes on their vehicles. I still think they are a little high on the price point considering the durability isn't as good as cheaper platforms.
Thanks! It was nice to see some changes, a few more would have been great. Yeah, a bit on the high side. But they’re a business and they can charge what they feel fit to run their business, pay employees, market, support the RC community/ events (unlike many cheaper brands) and all that other good stuff that gets worked into pricing.
One thing I’ve noticed about RC4WD is there’s way more scale detail’s and already has accessories included right out of the box whereas other brands don’t which then makes you have to spend more money on top of what you’ve already spent.
I was so lucky to get tf2 k5 blazer limited edition last year and still running🎉

Could you list your crawl spots for us CT people can hit up (if they're public that is). Getting bored of the normal Guiffrida, Black Pond, Lighthouse Park, etc.
This spot is Lovers Leap. It’s a small spot but I make the best of it.

It’s noisy, but the camera/mic close up does boost the noise a little more.

No, it’s red. Between a new camera and my first time with a new editing program, I had a tough time with the video colors.
If only the gears wouldn't explode its a cool looking truck it just everything u need to upgrade turns me from buy it i rather build my own.

So, they did a shackle reversal on the new Toyota, but not the K10? 🤦🏼♂️ RC4WD get so close, and then screws it up.
The driveshaft angles still suck.
Not bragging but I can afford several of these but this is way overpriced. It’s the principle of not getting screwed.
