It’s a Mauser… it’s a fine rifle. Quality stuff!
I recently purchased one M18 in the Fenris version with a stock from GRS. Very good, comfortable and accurate weapon. The only caveat is the relatively difficult placement of the shutter after cleaning.

Does the barrel come threaded from the factory ?
Is the trigger guard metal or polymer? I do not mind a polymer magazine, but I am curious about the trigger guard.
Am I the only person who can’t look at any hunting rifle in the same way after seeing the Sauer 505 grade 5 🤤

Hi Chris, I am planning to order this exact rifle in 6.5x55 tomorrow! Not going to wait for the review... but from what you have seen performance wise, do you recommend it? Any reason of why I shouldn't get this and skip to the M12? Is the trigger guard steel? @@chrisparkin431
Will you slow tf down in your review please sir. I couldn't keep up with you and I'd consider myself up on the specs myself. Just too fast for the beginner tho.
RUclips has a short attention span, speak slow and you get less information in and people moan you didn't answer all their questions. If you are having problems, slow it down
