- The Christian life is more costly than we realize and more precious than we know. Today, R.C. Sproul continues his exposition of the gospel of Mark to help us soberly assess the price of following our crucified King.

Which people around the world are true Christians Jesus followers according to the bible Mathew 24:24,2thimoty 4:3-4,2PETER 2:1-3,1JONH 4:1,Mathew 7::21-23?
@@vusimngomezulu2500 Why do you feel it so necessary to spam videos with the same cut and paste statements, that have no relevance to the videos above them? Please, if you are in Christ, think about what you are doing by taking God's word out of context. You can not pick and choose biblical statements and apply them to other contexts, that is not how it works. Firstly to understand the word you must be in the Spirit, then to decipher its full meaning we must look at what comes both before it, and after it. And we must pray about our understanding and use God's word, looking for other places within it, where themes are repeated many times, to use the gift of discernment, and fully chew upon God's word to extract all of its meaning. I pray for you in Christ.
Amen Sproul. Great message, really touched my heart. We need to be willing to take up our crosses and serve Jesus, no matter what. God bless you all.
R. C's exposition of the meaning of cross-taking is masterful and profoundly disturbing.
Love this. Wish this way preached now in churches today
Powerful sermon indeed!! Followed R.C's ministry for more than 20yrs until his passing. Miss the man but looking forward to seeing him again in the new Jerusalem. To God be the Glory!!!

God loves you. See it in the rain and sunshine and tasty food. No, you arent chosen to be saved, but your creator loves you.
Espero con ansias que pronto lo suban en español. Dios bendiga a Ligonier y a todos sus colaboradores. Saludos desde Colombia
Super good points made.
Buy used Bibles every chance you get, keep them safe, and give them out when they are no longer available in stores.
Check thrift stores, some might give them to you.
@J It is upon us; everything has been set in motion, and it will unfold in a most sinister way. Never deny Christ.
The cost was great ....
It cost the *divine nature of God himself* who reconciled all things to his *own divine nature* not just man's, but all things in heaven...and earth..
through him to *reconcile to himself* *all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven* , by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Colossians 1:20
19 That is, in Christ, God was *reconciling the creation to himself (his own divine nature)* not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.
17 Therefore, *if anyone is in Christ* he is a *new creation* the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!
2 Corinthians 5
Thank you Father God and my lord Jesus for overcoming satan, sin and death, now as a *law of reconciliation* in human hearts and minds for your glory, to those who accept your ways !
God's divine justice was reconciled to his mercy and love ...his divine nature *could not be compromised* !
Wow what *love and wisdom and power* !
*All bow to him on the throne and the lamb* Revelation 5
Jesus is the God’s chosen servant, we should be God’s chosen servant as well and lead justice(truth) to victory with Him. For more details, please watch the sermon of the Light of Wisdom Church, welcome everyone to study and discuss together. Video “God’s Chosen Servant|In his name the nations will put their hope|Salvation”
If you think it makes sense, we must not only believe it ourselves, but also spread it to more people. Evangelism is not only the job of pastors, but also the responsibility of every believer. This is also the aspect that the Lord values most when ascending to the kingdom of heaven.
Love the sermon, very good but was concerned about who or what is the rock on which the church will be built on. Time stamp 17:10
Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, [Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.]
Don't hear the gospel preached any longer...only spiritual counseling..
THANK YOU...I WAS HUNGRY!!!!!!
What's the difference between the Gospel and spiritual counseling?
The Gospel is the best spiritual counseling

Didn't Jesus ask the Father, Mat 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Peter's rebuke was his ignorance and reflects his love for Jesus. And he still showed it when he cut the ear of the captor servant. Peter was willing to die by facing the wrath of the Roman's army showing his love for Jesus. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Peter could be the first one to showed this if Jesus didn't stop that event.
"Whosoever wills..." And just like that, Calvinism is disproven.
Why did it seem rebuked Peter if for Jesus it's only yesterday like at Eden's when Devil tempt First couple and had said You won't die even if not decided to taste Evil's as good unlike God.
People are unchanged then as now or else Why'd Pharisees at their toes unless double agent on latter's behalf intended it all?!
No, Bonhoeffer was no Iscariot lest Jewish Christians too been.
Not in a literal sense as arthur
Blessit did...a misinterpretation
Of scripture!
Friend, Arthur Blessit heard God tell him to carry the cross and he was obedient. In his case taking up his cross just happened to be taking up a literal cross.
Well God will judge our actions
I wouldn't do it myself
Attracting unnecessary attention with gimmicks!
@@angloaust1575 It's not a gimmick if God said to do it.
People can be led astray thinking
God has told me or shown me
One can never be sure If it was
God better to use own judgement
Sometimes I make the sign of
The cross with my hand
But wouldn't carry one literally!
@@angloaust1575 Friend, just because people CAN be wrong doesn't mean Arthur WAS wrong. And if Arthur was right, and he obediently bore a LITERAL cross at God's request, you are in the wrong for ridiculing him, an obedient disciple of Christ.
