Such a charming scene. You captured a wonderful moment from the vintage-looking footage. Your colours are inspired. Perfect balance of light and shadow.
It is an image of a quiet moment in the delivery boy's night but all the shapes and colors show the activity surrounding him as he is about to speed away. I admire how neatly you place the cut lino pieces in the bowl. When I have made lino prints, I find little slivers of lino all over the table and floor.
This image is almost the old with the new, but yet also timeless in a way. Way back when a guy wouldn't drive over on his motorbike to deliver ramen, but the alley and the building are old. I love the atmosphere in this picture, and you've done a really nice job, you're very inspirational. Also I noticed, at least while it was wet, that yellow matched the yellow in your living room! :)
Such a wonderful print you made, I watched the video while doing my coffee break and it was really enjoyable. Love the end result as well. I really love the Atelier Sento videos, ha!
It was our second linocut print so, yes, there are some parts that could have been done differently to make it easier to print. We were lacking experience back then.
Question: how did you make sure all plates had the same alignment, and how was the process of drawing and preparing the other plates? This wasn't in the video. I assume all plates with the same size, and using other transfer papers for each area? Did you have the coloured illustration before, or was it made above a photograph directly?
@@ateliersento Thank you either way for your reply. I didn't know that you used water based inks. I used to make some linocut prints but the main problem were the oil based inks that I used and they've messed up the universe.
your videos are much like a glimpse into a secret diary of an artistic journey. love them a lot and find them very inspiring :) What is the name of the music track used here? Thank you ❤

Haha, there's something very satisfactory when placing the lino chips in the bowl! Thanks a lot for your feedback!
this totally changed my perspective on how complex and multifaceted linocut printing can be. amazing work!!!

Pretty cool. I do think if I was doing it, i would just hand paint in the yellow, orange and white areas

Super style! 😍
Merci beaucoup 😊
Superbe ! quelle précision egalement pour reperage entre chaque mise en couleur différente Bravo!
En effet, la superposition des couleurs est assez délicate et il y a beaucoup de ratés mais quand ça marche, quel soulagement 😅 Merci !
amazing!!
Thanks a lot!

Wow❤
Thank you 😊
Are you allright? Can't access your site recently
Cool stuff man, how did you think it turned out? I have been struggling with patience in multilayer prints.....Je veux me depecher trop.
I like the result but there was too many layers indeed. So it was to much work to print it. I’ll probably do less complex prints from now…
Hi there. May I ask how you remove the oil based inks from the linoleum plates? How do you clean them after using them in order to store them?
Hi! We use water based inks so we cannot answer your question. Sorry…

Is this print for sale?
No, sorry. Unfortunately it is out of stock.
magnifique!
Merci beaucoup !
