It came out wonderfully, I tried this method at school with 3 colours and it is definitely hard to achieve such a clean intricate design. Congratulations it looks perfect.
Really liked your video? Very friendly presentation too. Just getting into reduction Lino printing! I was amazed at how you printed each “carving’ before moving onto the next one? So clever and I’ve never seen anyone else do that!! Made my day thanks.
Wow, what a fantastic print. So much involved in producing it. It has definitely got the Alfons feel to it. I love the colours and the layers. It must be a really nervous process till you get to the final layer and they have all worked. I can imagine it would be hard if you did 3 good layers and then the last one went wrong!!!! I think your lino cut looks like a work of art as well as the prints it made. Thank you for showing us the process, you should definitely be proud of it.😀
Thank you so much! Yea it was a really nerve-racking process. I think i started with 17 prints on the first layer and in the end only 10 final prints turned out as I wanted them to 😅 But it was still a lot of fun doing it!
So good!!!!! Watching how you did this print I’m starting to understand the process better, you really have to be one your game and thinking multiple steps ahead, nicely done.
Thank you! I'm glad you found the video helpful 😊 Making multi-layered prints can be a lot of fun, but it's also a lot of work, which is why I don't do it as often as I'd like to. Nonetheless, it's a rewarding process!
Hej....
Amazing and so inspirational, would be nice to see you trying some other interesting techniques that some us of (me first and foremost) possibly haven't even heard about.
Well done, what a beautiful print! Makes me want to try some multi-colired prints as well.✌️Do you see advandtages in this method vs using multiple linoblocks fir the different layers?
Hmm I think it's a bit more difficult to transfer the sketch on each linoblock exactly the same way, so each layer might look a bit shifted 😯But on the other hand it could be a nice way to reproduce multilayered prints, which it not possible with what I did in this video. It has its up and downsides I guess😁
hi Kathen I really love this im currently doing alevel art for art noveau. How did you transfer your outline of the piece? you mentioned laser cut but could you explain x really lovely artwork defo subbing!
Hey there :) Thank you! So its a bit hard to explain but I try: I'm using a laser printer and print my outlines on the back side of some sticker paper (Mine has no particular brand, I think every sticker paper would work. You peel the sticker side off and have to print the waxy side that is left). Then I use some Liquitex matte gel medium, mix it with some water and apply a thin layer on my linoboard and stick my printed outlines on top. After a day I can just remove the paper and it's perfectly transfered :). I showed this technique in one of my vlogs: ruclips.net/video/Q_dss_MHk1s/видео.html
It look like it was going to be a good video and I may be able to watch it another time. This always bothers me and it seems to be a trend. Music in the background when you're speaking competes for attention. The music's too loud I mean it's not really really loud but I'm trying to listen to you and I'm hearing the music and it's distracting..

Thank you so much 😊
The final print looks absolutely stunning!
Glad you like it 🥰

Beautiful project! The working theme is good. How about a 'The Tree of Life' theme, I know-quite common but it will be your version.

Loved the process. Where did you get the clip things for the press?
These are the Ternes Burton Stripping Tabs and Register Pins 😊 Got them from JacksonsArt
Super 👍👍👍👍

@@Kathens thank you so much! Really appreciate your detailed response hope your having a good day x
Hello,
Great videos thanks !
What do you use to center the paper for the differents layers ?
Thanks 🙏 I made myself a cut out for the lino board and marked where the paper should go. And for extra safety I used Ternes Burton register pins
@@Kathens thanks! ⭐️
Can you just use the lino once? Can you still use it later?
Where do you purchase your large Lino from please?
💚☀️🌴👍
a window with bright light behind you never works
