Phosani's Nightmare's biggest drawback is not the drop table. It's the fact that until you get a tablet it's like a 4 minute walk to get there. It really sucks when learning the boss. CG is S tier. One of the best pieces of content they've ever released imo.

Interestingly on Leviathan, ZCB is actually BiS until it reaches 440hp, where BowFa takes over. Most people just camp BowFa but such an interesting meta imo Edit: On your point about ToB, not even just going from 0 to 1kc. Every single kc up until like 100 is just atrocious. It’s not even just refusal to take learners (which there’s a lot of), it’s how insufferable some people are once you DO get in the raid. I got flamed for the following reasons and more in that grind: -Whip instead of scythe -Amethyst darts in my blowpipe -Bandos instead of Torva -Teammate did Sote maze tick perfect and I died (I was sub-10kc. I’d argue that if you do that with a noob on your team, YOU deserve to be flamed, but I digress) -I didn’t melee Xarpus -I had a BowFa and full crystal in my bank, as well as several other useful items that you don’t happen to need in ToB. They actually wanted me to sell all my gear that wasn’t helpful in ToB to make upgrades like claws, Ultor, etc. “just make money at ToB and buy it back.” Like I still want to do other content lol I’m not hard-committing to do exclusively ToB after like 15kc “well then you’re not taking this seriously” -Multiple Verzik deaths Like, I get that ToB punishes you for teammate mistakes. I do. I understand that having bad teammates makes the experience worse. But some of the whining from people who I was up front with about my limited experience was so beyond ridiculous, it made me not want to do what was otherwise my favorite raid in the game. And the funniest part is, these people would routinely die from getting greedy at bloat or insisting on tick-eating Sote ball and mistiming it. Like if you’re gonna flame me, at least be good yourself
Completely agree. TOB as content is incredible (probably the best in the game?), but the fact that you can grief your teammates creates a very toxic environment where people are very unwelcoming to newcomers. Far more so than in any other raid. People taking on learners feel like they're doing charity work and will only do it for 1 raid before they kick you out because you grief the raid too much. But there's no way to learn without doing it and nobody who's new will be able to do Verzik well (because Verzik is really fucking hard).
I disagree with your take on TOA. There are different types of red x which can make the fight fun and take a while to learn. Also boulder skipping and being able to get back into red x is also a skill. I’m not sure how chasing a fat blob around a room and sneaking up behind him hitting a few and then running away is some way more fun or more mechanically challenging. I ran solo 480-495 TOA for months, I hard camped that content until I got 3 shadows, 6 months. You can’t really appreciate TOA at 350. It’s not a challenge at that invo. True mastery of the content is around running 500+. Monkey room is also a skill. It’s fun to do well in that room especially after the changes which make it easier. Overall this rating is skewed to players who don’t truly master content. Anyone can kill vardorvis and kill him once as awakened but can you do that back to back? Can you run a solo 500 TOA back to back efficiently to farm that content? Can you get to and kill zuk consistently. That’s mastery. This is a surface level understanding of bosses and a surface level ranking of a beginner kc. Also get your infernal cape, you’ve killed every boss in the game and have gotten to zuk and you haven’t gotten it yet? Cmon! You can do it but don’t stop at 350 like TOA, keep grinding up to 400, then 425 then 450 and so on. Get that cape.

hydra takes ~2 mins 30 to kill lol and he spawns quickly, poison is easy to dodge, good drops, no chip damage, no unavoidable damage
