Hi there thank you so much for all of the wonderful ideas and clear tutorials , I am reasonably new to air dry clay but have made a few successful project, now I would love to try my hand at a highland cow head not a huge size of course but I think the long shaggy hair would be exciting to try, however I have not been able to find a tutorial making the armature will be the first obstacle and the horns might also prove problematic and I can’t think how they might be achieved. Any idea,s would be greatly appreciated
Hi, Did you see my video with the bird lamp? Not quite as delicate as the hair on the highland cow would be, I’d make it big enough so these could be wired and then varnish well to give strength once fully dry, best of luck 🥰

Hi and welcome, thank you so much, lots more air dry clay projects coming soon too. I like a varnish like a polyurethane, it takes longer to dry but find it most durable, Sarah ❤️

Hi I’m really new at using air dry clay and love watching your vids. I hope you don’t mind me asking another question but is it necessary to use a primer on the clay before painting it with acrylic paints? Or is it ok without ?wondered what your thou are on it. Ty😊
Hi, definitely fine to go in and paint the clay however you wish, once it is completely dry, thank you and happy crafting 💜

Wow! I really loved the family of birds 🐦 that's my favourite ❤ but I just love everything!! Iv just bought some airdry clay so I'm reading to start! I would love to see a full tutorial on the lotus seed pods please and also some Christmas trees that are not flat if you know what I mean? So I want to make some pretty ornaments for a shadow box like an actual armchair and a little table with a little vase of flowers and a Christmas 🎄 with little hanging baubles & presents under it would you call it 3d? or 4d ? I'm so excited 😊 can you tell lol 😆 I want it to look like your looking into a pretty festive lounge through the window of the shadow box . Could you maybe do some thing like that to watch to see how you do it please? Hi, I don’t use resin but yes pretty sure you can and will give a lovely finish
Wow, you make it looks so easy, I threw my air dry clay out as couldn’t get it to go as soft as yours seems to be, I was at it for ages and it just wouldn’t soften and I gave up. I was trying to make some large ‘beads’ for Angel heads/faces for my macramé project…maybe I will try again & I will check to see if you have a video that shows a beginner how to get the clay softened (was using same make as yours)
If it’s gone a bit firm you can put in a sealable bag with a teaspoon or 2 of water, move it around and let it sit like that and the clay should absorb the moisture and should help soften the clay, hope that helps
