Great video, on the newer model 2023 the oxygen sensor is one piece unable to be unplugged directly at the sensor so I ordered and waiting for an oxygen sensor socket to come in to remove. Basically a deep socket with a slice in the side to fit around the sensor but able to go on to the nut. I'm no mechanic so this was something Ive never heard of. Just figured I'd mention for anyone with a newer model. Everything else seems exactly the same!
@@PropaneTreeFiddy I was unable to find a socket that worked, I attached needle nose vice grips to the sensor at the nut, then used a pair of pliers on the vice grips and broke the sensor loose that way. A little Jerry rigging but that what worked for me and the sensor is totally fine. I successfully installed new exhaust with no issue
@@Tony2Time thanks for the quick reply! Wasn't sure if it'd be a standard 22mm or something else. I like your method too and will keep it in mind for when my kit arrives. Thanks again!
Hi Nick its Keith.im now in Spain on Vacation and found a bit of Bike time, as get my Blue NC on Monday when we get back...Had no idea you fitted yr new Exhaust yrself. Man your Tutorials are Fantastic, i dont think you know how People have gain enthusiasm and even bought one of these Bikes because of your Channel , (I am one of them) to which i thank you very much....You must return to the NC750X ASAP my friend.....Ha ha ha
Great video. Always good to see how things get put together if not only for general cleaning and lubrication purposes. A video on chain adjustment would be good to see. Getting it spot on is never easy. Thanks
Very instructive and well put together video. Two questions: 1) Did you notice any improvement/change in the gas mileage as a result of the new exhaust system; 2) Can you keep the stock silencer while changing the front pipe? Thanks.
Very good video. Good camera work underneath and through out managing to do the job and still get camera angles showing what you were doing. Some videos all you can see is the persons hands which I get it's difficult to do the job in hand and film. Some times you can't see what they were doing or it's sped up so really you don't learn owt.
Glad you replace the aftermarket exhaust with the stock unit :-) ! I like stock myself. Just a thought. Wouldn’t you think it better to use “anti-seize” on appropriate threads instead of a grease?
@@nicksepisode My 2013 NC700S is grey with the original orange trim on the 'frunk' that I since have painted black. And the 2914 NC750S is black with a dark grey trim on the 'frunk' . I am not mechanically minded in the slightest, but you made that seem doable even for someone like me. I have to say though that I don't see the appeal of aftermarket exhausts. I don't want any extra noise at all, especially with a bike like the NC. I don't see any point in trying to pretend the bike is something that it's not. I am on the lookout for an NC but too many of them have aftermarket exhausts, which is making it harder to find the right bike.
Thank you for commenting, I had the exhaust on for a few months and realised what am I doing !? Though the leo vince is pretty nice to look at and don't come across to obnoxious , good luck with the search and thanks for watching.

Do you have a link to the socket you ordered? About to do this to my '23 and would appreciate the info!

Hello i have the 2023 model too, can you please send me a link where you bought the oxigen socket from.

1. Yes it sounded faster, mpg was the same. 2. You can keep stock silencer and just use the front.
why does it say DECAT when i can still se a CAT on the new pipe ??? is it empy indide ??? will the DECAT PASS INSPECTION ????
It's a fake cat, shhhh it will pass
very helpful video. thank you. i just bought a honda nc750x and i want to change the exhaust.
Congrats on the new purchase

Just a thought. Wouldn’t you think it better to use “anti-seize” on appropriate threads instead of a grease?
Grease makes a better seal, ive used anti seize grease before and it don't take well to heat. Plus multipurpose grease is easy to get hold of too.
nice video
any change to the consumption ?
No, it's still the same 😉
Sounds is very different. Though not sure it suits the "work horse" NC750X, it's more of a triumph bobber sounds or something retro.
nice vid, would you say the noise is just about right? I leave early for work and dont want to wake up the neighbors lol
Its just about right, i dont like my bikes to sound too loud but this is fine
@@nicksepisode awesome, I'll most likely get a leovince too then. Thanks
That was a good little video, is there any improvement in performance with the new system ?
Not that I noticed I must say
I have the same bike in holland!! Beautyfull bike!!
What is de name of de leovince exhaust i will maybe the same one ?!
Think it's just called carbon
Brilliant video
Thanks
Nice job...awesome sound. 👍👍👍
It definitely turns heads
@@nicksepisode I have the same NC with dct and I think the Leo Vince and Mivv suono exhausts are perfect to hear the pistons explosion 😀😀😀.
Not the topic here but I like that blue color, really nice..
Thank you, I am partial to blue bikes, what colour do you have?

Very nice, I had a black cbr and it looked gorgeous when clean, but soon very dusty after one ride.
Excellent 😊
Thanks a lot
nice job and bike
Does the LeoVince has catalytic converter?
The Leo full system doesn't have a cat, but if you are only changing the muffler the cat will remain as its part of the front pipe.
@@nicksepisode So what is this tin can structure we see on the exhaust you installed?
@@DVDPlus empty chamber

I'd probably be better off 3kgs lighter, and kept the original exhaust... Nice vid though! 👍
No header gasket?
There is a washer on the head

Класс , отличная работа👍
I wish Toce had a system for this bike.
Amazon sell some cool slash cut pipes, the link pipe is pretty straight so you could make a generic one fit, if you like that style.
@@nicksepisode True, but I'd change the header and the mid pipe. You get more gains b changing the header and mid pipe.
Black widow sell a straight through pipe that could work in conjunction with it, now that would be loud!
@@nicksepisode The black widow didn't sound all that great to me. Sounds cheap.
Not very loud nick
Perfect amount of noise for the type of bike in my opinion
Why put grease on the threads?
You don't have to, it does help when you need to remove them in the future
