when seaming the cuff. You go into the chain in the back row? or just the back loop of the second row? I know you go through the back loop of th first row ..confused about the second thank u :)
@@oombawkadesigncrochet thank u so i go into both loops? not just one leg the entire v? after i first pick up the back leg of the front row is that right? kindly thank u i am loving your soothing videos :) your tone of voice is so comforting and i love the atmosphere you offer :) your so KInd :)
@@oombawkadesigncrochet I apologize for my snarky comment.. your mitts are awesome for most people I'm sure. I was frustrated looking for a xl pattern made with ' chunky' yarn that requires a 6 mm hook. But I've basically had to make my own by incorporating parts of 3 or 4 different patterns / ideas💡. Your thumb area worked brilliantly! So thank you 😁
Really enjoyed following along with you, didn’t quite get the reinforcing part on the first mitt but managed it on the second. Thank you😀
Finished! It’s hard to find videos for men's patterns, so I’m really glad to have found this one. My dad loves them!
Wonderful! I'm so happy to hear this!
Thank you very much for such a nice tutorial, super easy to follow and great results!!
You're very welcome!
That yarn is beautiful. 😊
Great video!
Thank you! 😊
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
I'm fairly new to the crochet world. When adding the thumb I keep ending up with 12 stitches. What on earth am I repeatedly doing wrong here?
After Rnd 1 of the thumb we do not count the sl st as a stitch. Could you be counting the slst? There will be 11 hdc.

The remaining chain loop from the foundation chain.

How would I use this pattern but make it a tad wider?
You could go up a hook size? That will increase the whole mitten slightly in size.
Mine looks like an oven mitten 😮
It sounds like you might be using a heavier yarn weight than I did in the pattern - it would make a much larger mitten with a heavier weight of yarn.
Why must u start out with a magic ring, how many stitches if u didn’t have a magic ring?
Please
Thanks
Ok pattern but not really realistic fitting for the men/people i know. Also this yarn is definitely not CHUNKY no matter what the description says.
I'm sorry they didnt turn out as you wanted.
