    I have heard from other people who have this swap that once they heat up and you do a lot of highway driving that you get bad fade, I have not done this swap so I don’t personally know, just what I have heard. I have an 03 extended cab and I did the 06 calipers since they are bigger.

    Nice, who needs a newer Silverado that comes complete with afm, collapsing lifters and everything else 🤣. I'd like to upgrade the crappy drum brakes in the rear of my 2006, but that would probably mean I'd need a new rear diff that came factory with disc brakes, and I'm not sure if that would mean needing a different proportioning valve or anything like that.

    • @ZPTVChannel
      @ZPTVChannel  Год назад +1

      At this point mine is almost a 2023 lol 😂 and I think they make an adapter kit to convert to disks from drums! And from what I heard of you swap the rear ends the only thing needed to swap other than the rear end is the lines to the new calipers, but I’m not 100% sure on that lol
