Aww it made me cry not only Carrie being gone but also the effect it has had on the cast (of the Original Trilogy in particular). I'm sure the people who were in the sequels (Episode VII & VIII) have grieved for her as well but their love for Carrie would have been nowhere near as great as Marks and Harrison's

Treating Kennedy like a "soulless executive" and Lucas like a "guy who made a bad movie" is absurd. One of those channels that teaches people how/how not to handle certain social situations could make a whole video out of that last clip in this video. First you see George slowly thinking about how to express his feelings on Carrie, his timing was off and it could have been better if he had time to script it out, but we as humans connect much more to that because we can sense when someone is speaking from the heart. Then you saw Kathleen Kennedy, and she really just read "her" "memories" of someone who died... from a teleprompter. That's gotta be one of the most spectacular displays of corporate executive phoniness and being a fake shell of a person that I've ever witnessed. All she had to do was tell the audience "I didn't to know Carrie very long unfortunately, but the few times I was on set with her..." and go on to tell about what positive energy she brought to the set... as the other actors have stated that Carrie Fisher's humor and seasoned acting experience and her personality made them all feel so comfortable and get into their roles more. I believe that Colin making episode IX has an obligation to honor Carrie Fisher when making the movie. They should do a proper send off of Leia when it comes to the character. They should send her off by like retiring the character from the series or like sending her off on a mission or even positioning Leia to a point where she may not get screen time but she is alive and always with the audience during the movie, allowing the creaters to make a future movie about Leia that's takes place after the events in this trilogy. Killing her off via opening script because of fisher's death is just plain disrespectful to Carrie Fisher.

I believe that Colin making episode IX has an obligation to honor Carrie Fisher when making the movie. They should do a proper send off of Leia when it comes to the character. They should send her off by like retiring the character from the series or like sending her off on a mission or even positioning Leia to a point where she may not get screen time but she is alive and always with the audience during the movie, allowing the creaters to make a future movie about Leia that's takes place after the events in this trilogy. Killing her off via opening script because of fisher's death is just plain disrespectful to Carrie Fisher.
I bet that the lovely late Ms. Fisher was super-cool wild child, a real life of the party, like you'd have no party, maybe a dead party, until she showed up hehehehe
