No one is asking for intimate details of her medical information. Twice the public was on the receiving end of bogus "proof of life" which alarmed the public and fanned the flames. Hence why many feel KP now "owes" them the real thing. (They are publicly funded.) Abdominal surgery is tough; however, it is imperative to be ambulatory within a day after surgery. C-sections and hysterectomies are perfect examples. (My friend crushed two of her vertebrae jumping from her apartment fire and they had her sitting up (bawling) in her back brace within a few days.) It's been two months since her "planned" surgery and December 25th since anyone has seen her (and her children) out and about. She should be mobile by now. Personally, I don't believe this is a medical issue. I think this is a security issue. @@lillyroth61

As an American, I thought that the White House Press Secretary, should have said "No comment!" Her response showed a lack of neutral diplomacy that ended up being condescending and embarrassing! The sudden pains when nerves woke up were the worst. You'd be doing something and bang it would hit.
I had abdominal emergency surgery after two c sections. I was kept in hospital for over 10 days. It took me two years to get back to normal and that was in the UK. Who knows what the operation was for and it may take a long time to be physically and emotionally stable for a woman to get over such surgery.
I would agree that the nerve pain was worse than anything. It was awful and no woman that hasn’t had such surgery will never understand how ill it makes you feel.
The level of obsession with the royal family is frightening. Queen Elizabeth had four children and was never photographed pregnant which means she must have been able at least four times to disappear from public eye for three or four months. Evidently that’s no longer possible. Geez. What’s the big deal? The royals are just people who use the bathroom and fake their pictures like everybody else. Nothing to get worked up about. I do, however, enjoy listening to people who can speak fluently in complete sentences, like River does. It’s a rare skill these days and the main reason I tune in.

On Samantha's lawsuit, giving the judge the benefit of the doubt on there not being solid legal grounds here, I think it's distinctly unfair of the judge to drag out the proceedings for almost two years. This came at an enormous cost to Samantha, as well as a great psychological toll. Samantha has unaffordable legal bills unless there is an agreement in place. Almost certainly she will be ordered to pay all Nutmeg's legal bills.
This case was quite clear from Day One. If sufficient legal grounds were lacking, the judge ought have ordered it dismissed a good while ago.

They've been doing it since the invention of photography. Look for the famous photo of 'Ulysses S Grant at City point' which was made from a composite of 3 photos which were taken in 1864
We used to "adjust" photos with scissors and rubber cement. Also "copier magic" with white out.

I'm sad for her that she brought the case, as the loss may weaken her credibility amongst many who don't follow this. It seems she had poor legal advice, or lawyers that were willing to take a chance.

What I saw was a heartwarming picture of a loving Mother with her children. A beautiful image. Catherine is a peacemaker and that is why I believe she attempted to explain an innocent picture. I saw the video of Queen Camilla and her Barbie. What a hoot. She was so warm. That sweater (jumper) is the most wonderful color and looks perfect on you.😊

Regarding Samantha's case. Defamation claims are very difficult to prove. I feel bad for Sam's not being able to move forward, but she fought hard, and I hope she can now move forward with her life .

I am sure Samantha was very annoyed and hurt by what she saw as lies being spread about her. In her mind she was a good and supportive older sister and she didnt change her name to Markle when tow got engaged. She also didnt have children from all different fathers (two not three). I too would be annoyed if someone lied about me on a global stage and I felt I couldnt put the record straight.

If the conspiracy theories about her hadn't gone around (mostly due to her haters) her Mothers Day photo would not have been analyzed.
This is 💯 media annoyed she hasn't caved to their bullying requests to divulge her condition.
It reminds me of Hollywood actor Jamie Fox and the rumours that went around about that poor man ehen he took ill last year.

I think it's important to note that Catherine apologized for any CONFUSION - not for them taking, editing or posting the photo. She also very clearly stated that this was a FAMILY photo - a gentle reminder, perhaps, that it was not an official portrait and really it would be better for the media to focus on the sweet untouched faces of a happy family on Mother's Day. She then once again turned the focus back to Mother's Day - affirming this was not a big deal and we should focus on the importance of the day.
Remembering the work that went into each lone of the 'recollections.may vary" statement, it is likely this was crafted with similar thougtfulness.
