The artistry comes about when you add those beautiful brush strokes, and when you know when to start and stop (as shown by you!). What looks to be a simple landscape is not as easy as it looks. Good practice for improving your brushstrokes, that is what I am going to do , great examples in this video to use to practice several times.

I've always wanted to try watercolor, and when I 1st got into it, I struggled. Your videos helped me tremendously in understanding the techniques to be successful
I am starting off with cheaper materials and kept wondering why I was having problems painting along with the videos...I knew it had to be the product 😅 thanks so much for clearing that up for me!!! 😊

Your gradient instructions are great! I feel like I understand the wet on wet, wet on dry and how to pull the color through for better blending techniques so helpful. I will make sure to rinse and dry off the brush before going back to blend!

Thank you! Saved! That was so helpful. I’m just starting to learn watercolor, and yours is the first video that I’ve watched which really explains the undesirability of adding water to already-applied color when making a gradient background.

Thoroughly enjoyed doing this. Such a great help for me on multiple levels.
I have been asked to show the use of w/c in an art therapy group and I wanted people to walk away with something pretty. Can't wait to watch the follow on videos. So far none of these brush techniques will not be hard for people. Ty
