Enjoying these and other videos. Trying to start again after over 20 years. Thanks to great instruction like yourself, and on demand and repeatable, my skills have already drastically improved. Thank you.
The artistry comes about when you add those beautiful brush strokes, and when you know when to start and stop (as shown by you!). What looks to be a simple landscape is not as easy as it looks. Good practice for improving your brushstrokes, that is what I am going to do , great examples in this video to use to practice several times.
Hi Emma thank you I’m a newbie and this is helping me a lot I really appreciate u taking your time showing us and giving tips plus this was so relaxing to watch ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
Very well done Emma. I was able to follow your instructions with no problems because of how well you did your presentation. Thank you and look forward to your next presentation!!. ♥️
This helped me so much. Even if I'm only an 11 year old, I produce a lot of beautiful pictures and I was gonna say that this helped me a lot. Thanks for making these videos. 😊😊😊
awesome! Am looking forward to the next tutorial, still have to paint these yet though. The second sky will be taking me out of my comfort zone which I need to improve. ty
I've always wanted to try watercolor, and when I 1st got into it, I struggled. Your videos helped me tremendously in understanding the techniques to be successful I am starting off with cheaper materials and kept wondering why I was having problems painting along with the videos...I knew it had to be the product 😅 thanks so much for clearing that up for me!!! 😊
Your gradient instructions are great! I feel like I understand the wet on wet, wet on dry and how to pull the color through for better blending techniques so helpful. I will make sure to rinse and dry off the brush before going back to blend!
Thank you! Saved! That was so helpful. I’m just starting to learn watercolor, and yours is the first video that I’ve watched which really explains the undesirability of adding water to already-applied color when making a gradient background.
Thoroughly enjoyed doing this. Such a great help for me on multiple levels. I have been asked to show the use of w/c in an art therapy group and I wanted people to walk away with something pretty. Can't wait to watch the follow on videos. So far none of these brush techniques will not be hard for people. Ty
Love the video and your teaching style. It would be very helpful if you can you please comment on what primary colors to mix to come up with new colors (such as olive green).
Absolutely loving these mini series in a week. Great beginner video.
Thank you for not forgetting about beginners! 😊

Wow, thank you so much!!!!

I was hoping you'd do a video for the background! Was uploading part 2 before part 1 an accident?
I was told horizon lines need to be either above or below the half way mark to be more pleasing??
I am new at this. Where can I find list of supplies and paint colors used in this video
If you look for the word more just under the video, you will find all the supplies she uses.
Could you please let me know what the white paint you were using for the flowers was please?
Thank you! I found all of that so useful 😊
