Flowers area is still struggling mightily with quality restaurants. We have waited 10 years - still nothing.

@@relocatingtoraleigh We'll see. When you have been here this long and see that every retail choice made has been a disaster (outside of the grocery stores which are great) you tend to temper your expectations.

We escaped NY to this area. We love Flowers. It seems like you can get anywhere in 30 minutes. Honestly it usually takes me about 30 mins to get to RDU.

That's great! Do you travel during typical rush hour and it still is only taking you 30 minutes?

@@relocatingtoraleigh Just whenever. Back roads can get you where you need to go faster sometimes. Don't be afraid to try different routs. Sometimes I see a road and I just take it to see where it goes. My family and I are all drivers. We love cars and Jeeps and just love to drive.

That's great to hear! I hear from many that taking 70 to 40 is pretty rough during peak travel but glad to hear you've found ways around it! Back roads can be saviors for sure.
