  • The Mauritanian Railway, one of the world's longest, deadliest and heaviest train in the world transports iron ore from a remote mining town in Mauritania to a coastal city cutting through the Sahara Desert. The ride lasts anywhere between 20-30 hours and a few brave locals use it to travel back and forth with supplies. The dangerous trek leads to several unfortunate deaths every year as people fall off the train.

You are very brave to do this! We've seen few other travelers do this, but none of them had the epic cinematic shots that you did, or the drone footage. Amazing filming as always. We've also never seen someone do it in a cart full of the iron ore. I guess they do this route the opposite way, when the carts are empty. HUGE kudos to you my friend!

Love the video!! The camels are big. The sand looks unreal and cool. There are so many stars in the sky. The views are so pretty. That train is so long. That looks like it was a very long ride. -Rory❤❤❤
