    I have been looking for a video on how to do this for a few months now. I installed my lift kit about 4 months ago and have not been looking forward to messing with this. You did a great job explaining how to do this and I will probably do this tomorrow, so thank you!

    Great job. You are currect that most people put spacers on the bracket mounts instead of the differential mounts themselves. Very thoroughly explained. You will help a lot of people with your video.

    DUDE YOU SAVE ME BY DOING THIS VIDEO AM MAKING MY OWN KIT.......I MADE MY OWN KIT IN MY GARAGE AT HOME ( using bushings from my old lower control arms cut 4 pcs 1" w grinder /LOWES HARDWARE STORE (blots) I drop the diff itself and use longer bolts i only drop the passenger side diff bracket and knock out the 2 press in bolts and use longer bolts with locking nuts & torque.....Great Video

    Thanks so much for posting this. I’m working on this right now. I also have a 14 z71. Those hammered in bolts on the passenger side suck.

    Great video! I just did this kit today, they sent me bolts that were to long in my kit, I used the same passenger bolts you got, and I went with M12x1.75x60mm for the driver side and work great if it helps anybody with the same issue!

    Nice job bro, i just did this today. I really wish I found this video last night or this morning.. lol I couldn’t find any vids of doing it the way you just did it so I did it how everyone else been doing it and also how supreme suspension diff drop video did theirs. Sucks they show a video of how it’s done the other way with using longer bolts yet they send the bolts for the way you just did it. I had to run to aces hardware to get longer bolts. Awesome video on how to. I Hope your video helps others from having to spend more cash then they really need to👍🏽

    I just watch the supreme suspension video on this and in the video it shows them putting the spacer between the frame and the bracket not the diff and bracket... now i’m more confused

    • @SnowDrift
      @SnowDrift  2 года назад

      You can technically do it either way. The way I did it is the way it was designed to be done

  • @snivesz32
    @snivesz32 4 месяца назад

    Did your differential fins rub on the cross member tab? There's only a half inch of clearance and these spacers look like a half inch.

      Would this size work for a 3" lift? Or I would I need 1" spacers? And .5" longer bolts then the longer ones you bought?

  • @jasonlowery7553
    @jasonlowery7553 2 года назад +1

    You did this totally wrong. The spacers do not go where the pressed in bolts are. They go on the outer bolts. You made an easy job very hard.

    • @SnowDrift
      @SnowDrift  2 года назад +2

      Really wasn’t hard. And either way you would have to buy longer bolts so the kit itself is wrong.

    • @MostlyPeacefulCombatVet

      Nope. He did it correctly. 99% of people doing these are doing them wrong.
