Can you find out if the X30 will receive the same app update? It looks like the x40 app with clean genius functionality is upgraded plus the addition to skip a room or add a room would be great adds for us that got screwed getting an X30 in march only for this to drop a month later.

I bought the dreame x40 just over a month ago and now, it keeps on saying device offline in the app. Even after I reset it and reconnect to the internet, it just goes offline after 15mins again. Have you ever experienced this? Any suggestions for fixing? Please help.
IMPORTANT! My mop pads did NOT attach automatically. To solve this I tried starting up the robot by holding the on/off button in the middle of it for 3 seconds. It woke to life and I was able to attach the mop pads automatically. Phew!
To be honest, I can see it spins in one place a lot (especially on carpeet), thinks a lot. It was shocking to me that it drove into this cable, just imagine this being a dog poop. Also I can see it quite often backs up with mopping pads into parts of flooring not vaccumed before. This robot is equipped with lots of new technologies, but in my opinion it's totally not worth 1900$....

Balling get x40 I think x30 is best for the price and s8 if its cheaper than x30
