From Season 6 Episode 19, 'Maggie's Wedding'. Michael proposes to Maggie. Fran learns that Michael's cousin is James Brolin and that Barbra Streisand is coming to Maggie and Michael's wedding. Fran is so excited that she goes into premature labor causing her to miss Barbra!

I think one of the cutest details of this scene is Max grabbing a jacket that matched Fran’s outfit knowing she wouldn’t leave the house any other way.

I think he was being a bit sarcastic imitating Fran as it took her a while to catch on... all in good fun lol

My favorite part of this episode was how Michael responded to Fran’s last question about Streisand *shaky hands, high pitched funny voice* “in like 10 mins!” Always killed me 🤣
@Xyz Xyz I think they would have if this wasn’t the last season of The Nanny. I think that if they had another season, we’d see more of Michael. Especially since Michael’s apartment is in town and Maggie is so close to her family.

@@kristinbagani2811 They moved to California and Maggie and Michael went to I think it was Japan, that is why they married so fast so that she could move with him. I also remember Brighton traveling as well because one of the last scenes was with Fran with the newborn twins, Max, and Gracie saying goodbye to Maggie and Brighton at the airport. The very last scene is of the family minus Maggie and Brighton leaving the now empty house because they were moving to California.

This was a fun episode. My only pet peeve is that Fran is supposed to be pregnant with twins, and they gave her a really small fake bump for a near/full term twin pregnancy.
I do wonder if it's because they still wanted her to fit in the designer labels she was known for, and the series probably was contracted with.

Of course Fran already met Barbra Streisand in her own home in the episode when Fran ran over a bunny rabbit and was traumatized and lost out on winning a free car for Maggie in a beauty contest. Fran even stole one of Barbra's shoes and had to go back to return it.
