mtl food snob That’s a great question! My tip is to Learn as much as you can! Read books (Wine Folly is great for beginners), go to wine tastings at your local wine shops and try new wines to expand your palate.

Do you need water to help separate the taste of the wine ?
Actually, a small piece of plain bread and a sip of water do wonders for cleansing! It has no flavour and is said to absorb the flavours from the previous wine. Enjoy!

If you mean describing what I like and what I don't like : absolutely ! If you're referring to using complicated words and fancy expressions : then absolutely not . I believe wine should be enjoyed by everyone and made accessible. So describe wine with words that are familiar to you :) what do you think ?
