      Yes!!! You don’t want to warm the wine from the heat of your hand… but I forget sometimes or want to secure the glass better with a better grip!

    Hi Julielinh, just discovered your channel and nice surprise. You made an awesome video and delivered us with good info on wines. Audio could be much better, since I had to put the volume to the max. But I guess you have figured it out already. Will follow you to see what else you come up with. Thank you

    Good job! Italian accents are easy on the ears. Sommeliers are taught to stick their noses in the glass and draw deep or with quick short aggressive sniffy snifs. There is a reason for that but what he says is also correct. It's a case of BOTH/AND and a little more beyond that. Keep doing the vids, you have a great interview and demonstration style!

    I recently happened upon this series of videos, really enjoying them :-) thank you. Two questions, I understood that it is best to hold the wineglass by the stem versus grasping the bowl on the glass, can you weigh in on that? Also, is it common when taking your initial sip to aerate the wine, i.e., sip wine into mouth and the inhale slightly and bring in a little bit of air before you swallow?

    • @JulielinhMouret
      @JulielinhMouret  2 года назад

      Hey there!! I was always taught to hold the stem so the temp of my hand did not change the temp of the wine (if grasping by the bowl on the glass).

    • @JulielinhMouret
      @JulielinhMouret  2 года назад

      As for the 2nd part of your question… I was always taught to aerate the wine on the initial sip to grasp its full flavor. Hope this helps!!!
