Hah :D My battery can supply +800amps no problem. Sony vtc5a cells can push insane amounts of burst amps. But currently limited by the bms at max 500amps. But the motor will melt for sure before that xD
What's your top speed my build I'm praying at 84v running sabaton 150a so around 12,600 watts topped out around 74 GPS. Upgrading to mid drive 18kw but keeping my 72v 70ah 🔋

Hey man! Nice video and ebike. I have ordered qs273 v4 3.5t 40H, and i will be using it with fardriver ND72850 450 - 850A. What do you suggest for cooling, and how long will i be able to use the peak power for?
Hubsinks and ferrofluid should allow you to run quite high peaks. But for how long, I can't say because it is all dependent on where and how you ride. I would keep an eye out for the motor temps and instal a seperate temp sensor that is directly touching the windings and then avoid much above 80c. It can apparently go for peaks like 180c but I would not push my luck
I would asume it means 450 amps and 850 phase amps. Those are different things. Because 450-850 does not really make sense, that would mean you can not have less power than 450a.

I would go with a helmet that is the most comfortable to use so you actually end up using it all the time. Some people like proper motorcycle helmets while riding fast. But personally I mostly ride for longer distances so comfort is priority number one and weight is the biggest contributing factor in my oppinion at that. So I have used Bell super Air with mips and I would give my full suggestion to that helmet. Or if the style is not your jam maybe something from fox or similar brands. But I would say that is good to have a budget of 150-300€ for your helmet and then remember other protection gear as well depending on how fast you ride. I usually wear motorcycle pants with protections and a motorcycle jacket that has good ventilation. It's always easier to add layers if it gets colder so one set serves as many purposes as possible
Cyklonebike doesn't exist any more. BearEbike is the company that replaced that and they also own the Turbinators website and they sell extreme power hub motors

M currently building a 273 40h rear 175v 600amp DC rear , 205 50h v3 200amp front carbon fiber bicycle...aiming for 0-250kph in 7 seconds down the quarter, should get me a 8 second pass... my last bicycle was hitting 950amps dc on a daily basis with a 134.4v 76ah 50c battery that sagged to 132v at full charge...
In Finland this qualifies as a motorcycle, so if you ride this unregistered, uninsured and 20km/h+ over the speed limit, without a mc licence, you're royally fucked.
You should read how motors work. There are two power levels always for a motor. Nominal and peak power. Qs273 40H motors are 4kw nominal and around 15kw peak. My motor is custom winded with ferrofluid etc so I ran it at 38kw peak power
@BossManaatti cool, yeah, QS said they can customise to 2t, 2.5t, or 3t, but torque will be reduced, and the lower the number, the more chance motor has of being burnt out. Have you experienced any of this pushing 450amps? I want to be sure with a motor version before I order, I can increase phase wires when it arrives.
Yes you can get those motors with lower T ratings but they do not have that much copper as stock, so that is why I got mine custom made, so I would be careful when pushing max power with stock motors. I would not go above 300a and I would add two temp sensors to straight on the copper wirings. But lower T rating motor handles more amps and they also have better efficiency than higher T rated motors.

Yes you can but it is calculated in a way that nobody actually knows how many flux amps it is producing. You set it in bacdoor app using a % slider that will break your motor if you put it too high. If I remember correctly it was set to 17% but I honestly don't remember if that was it

Just to add that I never ment that this would be the fastest ebike as in e-motorcycle. Just as the fastest electric bicycle. Most of the parts are still ment for bicycles and you can pedal this. What I have understood is that "fast ebike" category means exactly this type of bike that I'm riding and not a motorcycle like Luke workman's bike.

My 273 70h v4 1000amp khb12101 134.4v 76ah 50c lipo ebike (built in 2018) puts this to shame... how can you say this is the world's fastest ebike when there are plentiful that are quicker accelerating and also ebikes that are 100kph+ faster than this?
There are many electric motorbikes that are faster than this. But this is still classified as a electric bicycle and most people recognize the "fast ebike" as the style of bikes as this old ebike of mine. Qs273 40h is the biggest and most powerful motor there is for an ebike. Any bigger motors are meant for mopeds and motorbikes and don't have the options for a freewheel which in return doesn't let you pedal the bike thus making those either mopeds or motorbikes. That is what I think is an ebike. You can dissagree with that but frankly I don't care xD

Yes there are several much faster than yours but I’ll name one. Luke aka “Live for Physics” Workman has the “Death Bike”. Runs high 11’s-Low 12’s in the 1/4 mile. Top speed is around 120 mph.

The display doesn't show anything more than that xD it goes up to 98km/h and then just jumps back to 90km/h and all over the place. In this video I rode around 120-130km/h at some sections

The speedo ever shows over ~96-99km/h. The fastest I did was around 150km/h

In that video the model was 71250 unlocked version. It was set to 80a later when I went to Lapland

I did dyno this bike and it went 217km/h ofcourse that doesn't really reflect to reality and the fastest I ever dared to go was around 150-160km/h
Just to add that I never ment that this would be the fastest ebike as in e-motorcycle. Just as the fastest electric bicycle. Most of the parts are still ment for bicycles and you can pedal this.
What I have understood is that "fast ebike" category means exactly this type of bike that I'm riding and not a motorcycle like Luke workman's bike.

My 273 70h v4 1000amp khb12101 134.4v 76ah 50c lipo ebike (built in 2018) puts this to shame... how can you say this is the world's fastest ebike when there are plentiful that are quicker accelerating and also ebikes that are 100kph+ faster than this?
There are many electric motorbikes that are faster than this. But this is still classified as a electric bicycle and most people recognize the "fast ebike" as the style of bikes as this old ebike of mine. Qs273 40h is the biggest and most powerful motor there is for an ebike. Any bigger motors are meant for mopeds and motorbikes and don't have the options for a freewheel which in return doesn't let you pedal the bike thus making those either mopeds or motorbikes.
That is what I think is an ebike. You can dissagree with that but frankly I don't care xD

All qs273 motors for bicycles are 4kw nominal. Mine is rewired and produces more torque and power with less heat.

Yes there are several much faster than yours but I’ll name one. Luke aka “Live for Physics” Workman has the “Death Bike”. Runs high 11’s-Low 12’s in the 1/4 mile. Top speed is around 120 mph.

The display doesn't show anything more than that xD it goes up to 98km/h and then just jumps back to 90km/h and all over the place. In this video I rode around 120-130km/h at some sections
