I finished a 6kw with 200 N.M of torque(though the company QS Motor says it can peak at 7905+watts but I've not tested it and probably won't anytime soon)ebike last year I worked on for most of the year before off and on taking my time and buying good components. I've never maxed it out because it's scary af and I don't have the right safety gear to be going over 55 on a bike frame. But it's just insanely torquey. And it ended up costing me 2/3 of what I planned to pay for all the parts.
That first bike the Cyclone with 28ah battery will last 30-40 minutes tops with a 23,000 watt motor. I think we're finally starting to see newer bikes with bigger batteries. I just saw a 60ah battery come with a newer bike. But to get people to really start buying ebikes for transportation besides just fun that's what you need. The number one question I get on my bike even before the speed is how far can I go.
They build these to a price. I think the controller and battery are by far the most expensive part of ebikes. By making them lower capacity batteries, they save on cost. I don't think it's a good thing, but it is what it is.
ive seen the Q!S 273 was the fast wind all phase and hall were upgraded to aircraft grade had custom hub sinks made and ferro fluid added,used a ASI BAC 8000 controller and the battery was 20 or 21 s cant remember exactly and was 20 in parralel of moli cells that possible 900 amp dc ,just nuts he was abloe to hit the 100 mile per hour the frame was a beefed up EEB frame cant remember the rim diameter but i assume it was 19-20 inch could have even been 26 but there is limited high strength rims in that size so i doubt it
only certain controllers can unlock these sort of speeds and most manufacturers wont allow you out of a duty of care responibility id think,the controllers need top have a really high switching frequency rate,the new controllers comming out for these huge UAPs that have Erpms in the 200 000 range and above the 100volt range and up too 1000 amps in a supprising small package are going to make interesting bikes,these controllers also control cooling lights ,dashboards ,suspension,and have usb c addons like gps and logging ,lora networking and other fancy stuff
looks great and great spec but fast electric bikes are motorbikes, lets not confuse things. Almost anyone can put a big motor on a frame it is not that difficult. What is more of a challenge is building a street legal electric bike that has better range and hauling capacity. whilst also being affordable. Then e-bike may be accepted and not demonized.
The part where the guy said you can play your part and reduced the carbon imprint that's a great sales pitch that's how it should be done I think range is the most important thing that people that are interested in these bikes look for

I ride my Vector Typhoon slowly and pretend to pedal ( even though I don't need to) and cops don't give me a second glance. If I were to ride flat out at top speed, they might be all over me. Even then, I'm not sure that last statement is entirely true. I stopped once and talked to a sheriff and he told me he only goes after cars and trucks and NOT motorcycles. I asked him why and he said that if he chased a motorcycle they'd likely try to outrun him and you'd wind up with a dead motorcyclist and that is NOT what they're after. I assume the same goes for ebikes.

Delfast is so overrated. The cyclone is the best bang for your buck on this list prob. Vector vortex is suoer nice tho, theirs a version of it built by ladi and its the sickest bike woth an amazing battery.
Ebike meant to use for everyday use to save money,but with your price tag if 6k to 20k us dollar i think i will go for bigbike or even for HAYABUSA,man the price is exaggerated,i bet until now no one is buying that ebike
Swapping the batteries is easy, just toss the old ones in a landfill and have those Lil afghan kids mine you some more cobalt and lithium...😂 Seriously though I don't think the batteries are the issue, I mean carbon footprint and the moral aspect of child slavery and war for profit aside, electric vehicles face the issue of simply to much tech, to many things to go wrong, this of course will get ironed out to a point with time and money invested, relatively speaking it's new tech, but personally I think that there is a long way to go with electric and other fuel sources are still superior even with the gov giving electric their attention, tax breaks ect, if the market were truly fair, electric would be more expensive than it currently is and would take longer to become genuinely competitive with gas.
The bike looks like a box. It looks like you could snap that controller right off. It also looks like you could take your leg off with that box if you went down on it. Plus it looks heavy for having to pedal will leave i!! not the best engineering.
Most people in this workd can barley afford a $200 ebike much less one that costs thousands..you can get a nicr used soortbike for about $2,000...i would pay $500 for an ebike thst does 60-80 mph and can go 75-100 mile range..

That's not true. Cite your proof to that. When do I need to change the spark plugs on my ebike? When do I need to clean the fuel filter? I can plug into any electric socket anywhere for free, you can't. Matter of fact it'll be 7 bucks to fill your gas motor up while mine will be free. Take $7 times 1000 fill ups and you could buy 7 E bikes. You must not understand math very well.

admitantly he was omly abloe to sustain that for few seconds,it would be terrifing, power metter was reading over 30 000 closer to 35 000 for memory

There's only so many ways you can frame a bike at optimized strength/weight params. Frankly I think they look the part.
The Vortex bike looks pretty good. Needs a 25kw motor with a 60ah battery or maybe a zero point arch-form… 😇
