Are Samsung Phones (S series) good for long term? Earlier Samsung phones were too bad for long term. They used to hang quite a bit, maybe due to exynos chipsets which Samsung used to opt for. What's the situation now? I'm looking for a phone that can last smooth and fast for next 4-5 years. I've been using iPhone XR for 4 years now, and the phone has held up really well till now. So, should a opt for another iPhone, or go for Samsung?
Thanks Ranjit sir for re-assurance that this is a great phone. I got this in 59k by exchanging OnePlus 7t + Summer Sale. This was the best decision as I have never purchased a flagship before. I agree with you that camera overall is very good, esp. photos at night are unbelievably good. Personally, SOT for me on weekdays is always around 5hrs. Probably due to bit heavy usage i.e 1 hour of small games like Clash Royale and 70-80% I am on 5G. But like you mentioned, stand-by time on Wifi is so good that I only have to charge next day before I leave for office. Weekends: I have to charge twice because of heavy gaming + lot of camera usage. Ranjit can you revisist s21 FE? Especially focusing on its battery and heating?? After recent sale im sure many people luke me might have bought it....wanted to know the condition of battery and heating
I sold my S21 FE for an OP 11, FE's battery backup was absolutely horrendous. I was clocking 2.5-3.5 hrs of SOT with SA 5G, used to overheat while navigating, streaming podcasts
The battery backup is horrendous and the phone heats like crazy. Yes the software is amazing but if you can deal with the above mentioned cons, then go for the fe.

I was looking at the s23 online. I was just curious why Samsung has a low exchange value for my older phone compared to, say vivo and Xiaomi flagships. Would you say the additional year of OS update would justify paying a bit higher for the s23? And also heard the 128 gigs is slower with regards to transfers than the 256 gigs
@@go64bit Yes I was hoping that would have been mentioned in this video. Also I was hoping someone would answer my question regarding the exchange values.
@@yummysoup It is bad in my opinion. I knew that compact flagship can't offer much but the battery life is still below from what I was expecting. Another thing to point is that I got a replacement unit from Flipkart bcz the first unit was surely defective cuz my battery went from 100 to 24 with just 2hr12min of SOT which just freaked me out. With this unit I get around 4 hour SOT top with my usage. Buy it if you are sure that battery life won't bother you as much if it sucks else you will definitely regret your purchase. My father's iPhone 15 has way better battery life but thats a different OS. TLDR not good for such an expensive phone.
S23 users suggest me if it is a good choice to buy it for 51k (256gb variant) I use mobile all day on mobile data only, I'm not a gamer, Camera is priority but I'm concerned about battery life.. Any draining issues after updates?
I bought the S23 during the sale at 47k for the 128gb variant and believe me its such a joy using this phone... The battery life is great and would easily last the whole day. I put it on charge when the battery came to about 45% and before putting it on charge I checked the SOT which was 4hr 13 min. So looking at that It should give a SOT of more than 7hr. Talking about my usage pattern my phone was mostly on Wifi and I don't game. RUclips was the most used app, followed by Insta and calls.
@@biswajeetmaharana5125 As per my usage there is no Heating issue with the phone. The only time it heated was during camera use outdoors and while charging. I was checking the price of S23 (lime) in samsung India website. For trade-in of S22 (8GB/128GB) variant, the exchange offer was coming to 31000 rupees. But for cream color, the exchange price of S22 was showing 39000. Why this price difference of almost 8000? Is it because lime variant is launched just now? Will the price of exchange offer increase, just like the cream color version?

Planning to upgrade from 21 fe to s23 . Major problem with s21 fe is heating issue . Did you noticed anything like that in s23 .
There is blur issue in camera, no one is speaking it unfortunately.
@@akashsaha4218 i have an S23, i think it's only specific to some units, my unit doesn't have the banana blur you're talking about
I also have no blue issue with my s23. And no heating issue also.
There is slight warm when you use the phone constantly. No heating issue . Buy this you ll not regret . Buttery smooth phone
@@iamsudhi Can you please tell me about the battery life, specially the SOT ?
Ranjit can you revisist s21 FE? Especially focusing on its battery and heating?? After recent sale im sure many people luke me might have bought it....wanted to know the condition of battery and heating
It only have sot of 5 hours 😒
I sold my S21 FE for an OP 11, FE's battery backup was absolutely horrendous.
I was clocking 2.5-3.5 hrs of SOT with SA 5G, used to overheat while navigating, streaming podcasts
The battery backup is horrendous and the phone heats like crazy.
Yes the software is amazing but if you can deal with the above mentioned cons, then go for the fe.
The processor used in the phone is SD 8 Gen 2 rather than 8 *Plus* Gen 2 that you're saying.
Thanks a lot sir. You are the one and only person giving unbiased reviews and I always look up to your review videos before I decide on buying a phone. It is because of you, I have bought this phone and I am really loving it. Thanks a ton again
Watching this on my S23, I got it immediately when it launched. Exchanged my op8 and with SBI bank offers got the 256gb variant at 46k. I am super happy with the phone...One UI is amazing. But the stand out for me is the compact form factor...I can't go back to a bigger phone now. I am spoilt
46k? How much did you get as exchange price? Also Flipkart or Amazon?
@@alter-ego- battery nd heating ??
What is SAR value ?
@@alter-ego- I got around 21k for exchange, then there was 8k additional SBI card offer. And also at the time of launch the price of the 256gb variant was 75k. I bought from Amazon.
@@Tink_is_here thanks for the full details 👍
One question - how s23 for watching videos from ott platforms or youtube. Pls someone comment
In my experience Not really good to watch movies if you like to watch movies better buy laptop or pad or bigger mobiles apart from that this is amazing mobile
@@Raj-bu2xv yea, I brought it and good
I was looking at the s23 online. I was just curious why Samsung has a low exchange value for my older phone compared to, say vivo and Xiaomi flagships. Would you say the additional year of OS update would justify paying a bit higher for the s23? And also heard the 128 gigs is slower with regards to transfers than the 256 gigs
128GB Galaxy S23 uses UFS 3.1 storage, while 256GB version uses UFS 4.0. So yeah 128 GB will be slightly slower if you transfer photos, videos etc.
@@go64bit Yes I was hoping that would have been mentioned in this video. Also I was hoping someone would answer my question regarding the exchange values.
Hi .I have the s23 Ultra & my brother has s23. He has same views as your s it's a Superb compact phone.
how is the Signal reception in indoor ? S23 pls share SAR value
I have bought all my smartphones till date after watching your detailed review. The same will happen now, purchasing S23 (256GB) for 50k.
How do you like it sir?
I just ordered mine in black (256 GB)🎉
How is the battry life ? Iam also planning to buy black 256gb variant soon.
@@shuvadeepsil2513 Thank you for the reply.
With respect sir please will you post a video regarding the review of Poco F5.. just wanna know your honest opinion
Watching from my S23❤😘🤩🤩🤩
Im using s 23, very much compact and picture quality is super. Very easy to use.
Best flagship compact phone
128 or 256?
Is it still suffering from camera blur issues?? The bananablur!!
Sir, waiting for your S23 plus review from a long time. I've planned to purchase it. But your views on it is not available.
Is there anyway to use samsung pass in gboard???
S23 users suggest me if it is a good choice to buy it for 51k (256gb variant) I use mobile all day on mobile data only, I'm not a gamer, Camera is priority but I'm concerned about battery life.. Any draining issues after updates?
I also need a feedback on s23
I bought the S23 during the sale at 47k for the 128gb variant and believe me its such a joy using this phone... The battery life is great and would easily last the whole day. I put it on charge when the battery came to about 45% and before putting it on charge I checked the SOT which was 4hr 13 min. So looking at that It should give a SOT of more than 7hr. Talking about my usage pattern my phone was mostly on Wifi and I don't game. RUclips was the most used app, followed by Insta and calls.
@@pranjalsharma35Any cons you noticed? How's the heating management outdoors?
@@biswajeetmaharana5125 As per my usage there is no Heating issue with the phone. The only time it heated was during camera use outdoors and while charging. I can't comment on heating while gaming as I don't play games. If you are a heavy user you can expect a SOT of 5-6 hr.
I didn't come across any major cons on this device as of now.
@@pranjalsharma35 Bro is it worth buying now in 2024
I am also using s23.. Performance is awesome battery is also good(normal usage like fb watsapp camera calls and youtube vidoes)...and handling is awesome like it is a small phone as compared to others in the category but u wont feel it is a small phone.. also brightness is awesome i keep it at adaptive brightness..... i would prefer buy 256gb version.. camera has a lot of features.. call quality is also awesome with speaker as well..
My last favourite compact smartphone was Samsung S10+, which I still own without any problems.. Whereas my Samsung S21 Ultra started to have green line on the left side of the screen.. I had to exchange the phone with S23.. Now, S23 has become my favourite compact smartphone.
Where did you get the wallpaper from?
One doubt when you use speaker phone for call, sound is coming only in bottom speaker.
Pls do a full review for 1+11 Ranjith sir...
What's the out of the box storage available?
Hpw does it compare OP11 ?

Hi Ranjit, How are you?
Can you please review the S23+?
I would like to see that and many other people also.
Thank You.
How to get the screen on time 5-6 hrs as i got only 4-5
Hi Ranjit is this going to get cheaper anytime soon maybe in some sale coming online or any other offers being offered by Samsung???
I have been using S23 for the past 3 months, facing camera blur issue & missing the qhd display.
Hi sir
Can you suggest me between s22 and s23 (256gb)
samsung phones are superb bt they lack in two departments my am facing with my A53 i. heating issues ii. battery backup
It has 8 gen 2 processor by mistake you have said 8 + gen 2.
Bought this phone yesterday for 51k based on your review in this video. I had bought 2 other phones 6 and 7 years ago. Still working fine 😊.
I saw you recently uploaded video on S23 FE, when I saw that it reminded me of this video and I felt this phone makes more sense over S23 FE. But every youtuber is promoting FE and has totally ignored this phone.
hey Ranjit using a s23+ and now it's getting A liiyle hot and losing battery little fast. Is it normal? I dropped it 3-4 times without case. And the weather here is 42-44 °c each day . Is it due to falling?
I have got the s23 Ultra green color in March. I am liking it. It's with Vi so no 5 G but cctv opens quicker than fold 5 with Jio 5 G is slower that 4 G of Vi.
Kindly give full tutorial of fold 5, of how to take selfie with main 50 megapixel camera.
First time ever i feel real good s23 what a phone it's zabardas 14pro k bara bar lagta hai muje
Is it true that Samsung mobiles charge faster by Samsung 25W adapter comparatively to 33 or 45W adapters of motorola or oneplus ?
No I am using MI 33 watt charge to charge s21fe it charges 0 to 100 in 80 minutes
@@naveenkumarreddychitka9397 yes because samsung 25 watt charges it in 60
Hi Ranajeet you are good as always. I always watch all your videos. This new colour is same as A34 I bought few days back for my wife. Looks almost the same.

I loved this phone, and the camera is super in it. I got it in Rs. 45000, nice price for this phone.
How?
How ?
The price is after exchanging old phone.
How is the haptics?
Planning to buy new samsung buds 2 as they are at a good deal. Had the samsung buds plus which has battery issue and the right buds are not working.
Should I buy buds 2. Pls suggest tws similar to buds 2. Pls share your opinion...
I am looking to grab this one during the bbd thing. Been using the note 20 ultra which has made me realise why i need to switch to a smaller device. But the price on this one, omg it is too steep. This is 50k phone at best. I don't know who are buying this thing for a freaking 75k. Insanely high priced imo.
same sir, am coming from poco f1 after 5yrs
Buy now 55k.
Buy now 43k
I have it. Buttery smooth performance till date after almost 3 months. Only probable weakness maybe videograhy as I also have the latest IPhone and can see that difference. 😊
128 or 256?
High saturation problem ??
Hey..I just want to buy Samsung s21 fe in bbd sale... is it worthy to buy it. Because I'm very concern about there battery and heating issue..if not can you tell me which phone i should buy in bbd sale with same specification
I want the trend of compact form factor back, companies giving tablet size screens in phones nowadays without any second thoughts
How does it stand with Pixel 7 pro
Try capturing any text document pic / close up shots of food etc, you will notice banana shape blur (top mid portion in vertical shots and leftside in landscape shots). Then if you don't regret buying S23, you don't really care about the major defect
And this makes it more like A series now 😮💨
It's powered by 8gen2 right?
yes
