My last favourite compact smartphone was Samsung S10+, which I still own without any problems.. Whereas my Samsung S21 Ultra started to have green line on the left side of the screen.. I had to exchange the phone with S23.. Now, S23 has become my favourite compact smartphone.

I was looking at the s23 online. I was just curious why Samsung has a low exchange value for my older phone compared to, say vivo and Xiaomi flagships. Would you say the additional year of OS update would justify paying a bit higher for the s23? And also heard the 128 gigs is slower with regards to transfers than the 256 gigs

Hi Ranjit Request you to have a dedicated video on camera performance. I've been using the phone from past 2 months and I'm highly unsatisfied. The images are blurry, there's massive shutter lag, the edges are blurred out like a vga camera. There are several other issues like excessive heating, poor battery backup. The camera was my priority and I feel cheated with several articles floating across the internet pointing out faulty 50mp sensor. Please make a detailed video regarding the issues mentioned above. Thanks in advance!

Bought this phone yesterday for 51k based on your review in this video. I had bought 2 other phones 6 and 7 years ago. Still working fine 😊. I saw you recently uploaded video on S23 FE, when I saw that it reminded me of this video and I felt this phone makes more sense over S23 FE. But every youtuber is promoting FE and has totally ignored this phone.
S23 users suggest me if it is a good choice to buy it for 51k (256gb variant) I use mobile all day on mobile data only, I'm not a gamer, Camera is priority but I'm concerned about battery life.. Any draining issues after updates?
I bought the S23 during the sale at 47k for the 128gb variant and believe me its such a joy using this phone... The battery life is great and would easily last the whole day. I put it on charge when the battery came to about 45% and before putting it on charge I checked the SOT which was 4hr 13 min. So looking at that It should give a SOT of more than 7hr. Talking about my usage pattern my phone was mostly on Wifi and I don't game. RUclips was the most used app, followed by Insta and calls.
@@biswajeetmaharana5125 As per my usage there is no Heating issue with the phone. The only time it heated was during camera use outdoors and while charging. I can't comment on heating while gaming as I don't play games. If you are a heavy user you can expect a SOT of 5-6 hr. I didn't come across any major cons on this device as of now.
If I had this phone, I would easily make it last beyond 2 days by putting almost every app in the deep sleep state within the one UI settings. I currently have a samsung F62. It has a flipping 7000mah battery. Just as a fun lil gag, I put almoat every single app on deep sleep state plus completely stopped some of the useless stuff like AI emoji bs and everything and I am beyond amazed on how long this thing can last. Even after 3 yrs of continous heavy use this thing still lasts 3 days straight on a full charge. With the protect battery feature that limits the charge to 85%, its still a whopping 2D and 22hrs of battery backup. Its absolutely crazy.
Using Samsung m51 which has 7000mah since 2 years, Would s23 be a good option with 3900 battery? I need location, 4/5g on, sometimes even hotspot on. I game about 2-3hrs. Will s23 be a good option to last for a day?
Try capturing any text document pic / close up shots of food etc, you will notice banana shape blur (top mid portion in vertical shots and leftside in landscape shots). Then if you don't regret buying S23, you don't really care about the major defect
I have it. Buttery smooth performance till date after almost 3 months. Only probable weakness maybe videograhy as I also have the latest IPhone and can see that difference. 😊
If you're planning to buy S22+ considering price drop then i would recommend that you wait for S24 so that s23 would get a little cheaper because in my personal usage battery backup and processor tuning is better on S23
@@anandadarsh2988 i thought the same. But It'll take anywhere more than 10months to reach that price point. It will not be a viable option for ones who need a upgrade ASAP.

Watching this in my S23, it's really a fantastic device.
Sir can you do any comparison between this phone's camera & pixel 7a ' s camera?
Looking Ranjit actually happy while reviewing a phone after a long time. Last time was probably during early OnePlus days. Not the current crap...
Im using s 23, very much compact and picture quality is super. Very easy to use.
Best flagship compact phone
128 or 256?
I have bought all my smartphones till date after watching your detailed review. The same will happen now, purchasing S23 (256GB) for 50k.
How do you like it sir?
I just ordered mine in black (256 GB)🎉
How is the battry life ? Iam also planning to buy black 256gb variant soon.
@@yummysoup It is bad in my opinion. I knew that compact flagship can't offer much but the battery life is still below from what I was expecting. Another thing to point is that I got a replacement unit from Flipkart bcz the first unit was surely defective cuz my battery went from 100 to 24 with just 2hr12min of SOT which just freaked me out. With this unit I get around 4 hour SOT top with my usage. Buy it if you are sure that battery life won't bother you as much if it sucks else you will definitely regret your purchase. My father's iPhone 15 has way better battery life but thats a different OS. TLDR not good for such an expensive phone.
@@shuvadeepsil2513 Thank you for the reply.
Hi Ranjit is this going to get cheaper anytime soon maybe in some sale coming online or any other offers being offered by Samsung???
S23 is the best compact phone right now but the coming pixel 8 is rumoured to be 6.1 inch, need to see how good that phone would be.
Yes! That’s true
Just bought the army green 2 weeks back, traded in my s20+ with a faulty screen for 18k, 2k coupon on sam shop, 8k exchange bonus, 5k on hdfc card so I bought this phone (256gb) for 47k. Hope this helps
How is the battrey life after 1 year ? Does it last 1 day ? Thank you.
Brought one for my wife definitely the best compact smartphone 🔥
Hi sir
Can you suggest me between s22 and s23 (256gb)
6:07 From where did you get that info? It's not 8+ gen2 SOC neither in s23 nor in s23 ultra.. it's 8 gen2!
Hpw does it compare OP11 ?
I was looking at the s23 online. I was just curious why Samsung has a low exchange value for my older phone compared to, say vivo and Xiaomi flagships. Would you say the additional year of OS update would justify paying a bit higher for the s23? And also heard the 128 gigs is slower with regards to transfers than the 256 gigs
128GB Galaxy S23 uses UFS 3.1 storage, while 256GB version uses UFS 4.0. So yeah 128 GB will be slightly slower if you transfer photos, videos etc.
@@go64bit Yes I was hoping that would have been mentioned in this video. Also I was hoping someone would answer my question regarding the exchange values.
What's the out of the box storage available?
I don't get it. what's the point of the phone color when every one use a hard case or some case to cover and protect the phone... Basically we don't see the color underneath.

Planning to upgrade from 21 fe to s23 . Major problem with s21 fe is heating issue . Did you noticed anything like that in s23 .
There is blur issue in camera, no one is speaking it unfortunately.
@@akashsaha4218 i have an S23, i think it's only specific to some units, my unit doesn't have the banana blur you're talking about
I also have no blue issue with my s23. And no heating issue also.
There is slight warm when you use the phone constantly. No heating issue . Buy this you ll not regret . Buttery smooth phone
@@iamsudhi Can you please tell me about the battery life, specially the SOT ?
I am also using s23.. Performance is awesome battery is also good(normal usage like fb watsapp camera calls and youtube vidoes)...and handling is awesome like it is a small phone as compared to others in the category but u wont feel it is a small phone.. also brightness is awesome i keep it at adaptive brightness..... i would prefer buy 256gb version.. camera has a lot of features.. call quality is also awesome with speaker as well..
Watching from my S23❤😘🤩🤩🤩
How is the haptics?

Hey..I just want to buy Samsung s21 fe in bbd sale... is it worthy to buy it. Because I'm very concern about there battery and heating issue..if not can you tell me which phone i should buy in bbd sale with same specification
Hi .I have the s23 Ultra & my brother has s23. He has same views as your s it's a Superb compact phone.
Ranjit can you revisist s21 FE? Especially focusing on its battery and heating?? After recent sale im sure many people luke me might have bought it....wanted to know the condition of battery and heating
It only have sot of 5 hours 😒
I sold my S21 FE for an OP 11, FE's battery backup was absolutely horrendous.
I was clocking 2.5-3.5 hrs of SOT with SA 5G, used to overheat while navigating, streaming podcasts
The battery backup is horrendous and the phone heats like crazy.
Yes the software is amazing but if you can deal with the above mentioned cons, then go for the fe.
Is it still suffering from camera blur issues?? The bananablur!!
Planning to buy new samsung buds 2 as they are at a good deal. Had the samsung buds plus which has battery issue and the right buds are not working.
Should I buy buds 2. Pls suggest tws similar to buds 2. Pls share your opinion...
Those parallel lines of the curtains in the background with the moving subject (you) in the foreground is making an illusion of the lines jiggling in the small screen.
how is the Signal reception in indoor ? S23 pls share SAR value
Hi Ranjit
Request you to have a dedicated video on camera performance.
I have bought S23 Plus, on wifi i get 10 Hours of SOT everytime with normal usage which is what my expectation was when I bought this phone.
Hey bro... Am planning to buy s23+.. how's your experience so far.. facing any issue?? How's battery
Should I buy it now or after 2 months? Will they reduce the price of the phone? As of now they are giving bajaj no cost emi option so I was wondering if they will have the same offer after 2, 3 months?
Where can i get this wallpaper Sir?
Hello Sir! I want to buy a new phone around 55k!! My priorities are Display, Battery and camera?? My three choices are Moto edge 30 ultra vs Samsung s 23 (After Buyback) and Google pixel 7 ?? Ya I should wait for Moto edge 40 pro??

Iphone 14(basic) vs samsung s23 which one would you recommend? I am looking to buy one of these
Samsung s23❤
Sir, waiting for your S23 plus review from a long time. I've planned to purchase it. But your views on it is not available.
Which is best iPhone 13 or S23 in 128gb variant
The processor used in the phone is SD 8 Gen 2 rather than 8 *Plus* Gen 2 that you're saying.
I also need a feedback on s23
I bought the S23 during the sale at 47k for the 128gb variant and believe me its such a joy using this phone... The battery life is great and would easily last the whole day. I put it on charge when the battery came to about 45% and before putting it on charge I checked the SOT which was 4hr 13 min. So looking at that It should give a SOT of more than 7hr. Talking about my usage pattern my phone was mostly on Wifi and I don't game. RUclips was the most used app, followed by Insta and calls.
@@pranjalsharma35Any cons you noticed? How's the heating management outdoors?

High saturation problem ??
Using Samsung m51 which has 7000mah since 2 years,
Would s23 be a good option with 3900 battery?
I need location, 4/5g on, sometimes even hotspot on. I game about 2-3hrs.
Will s23 be a good option to last for a day?
M51 is 6.7 inches and s23 is 6.1 inches.
You will going to miss the huge display.
If you need a flagship compact phone then s23 is the one to go
How does it stand with Pixel 7 pro
What if I am using s23 with 35 watt samsung charger ? Is it good ?
Try capturing any text document pic / close up shots of food etc, you will notice banana shape blur (top mid portion in vertical shots and leftside in landscape shots). Then if you don't regret buying S23, you don't really care about the major defect
Which one is good sir among OnePlus 11 vs S23
I have it. Buttery smooth performance till date after almost 3 months. Only probable weakness maybe videograhy as I also have the latest IPhone and can see that difference. 😊
128 or 256?
What about S22+ in terms of battery and heating issues? Would you still consider S23?
If you're planning to buy S22+ considering price drop then i would recommend that you wait for S24 so that s23 would get a little cheaper because in my personal usage battery backup and processor tuning is better on S23
@@anandadarsh2988 i thought the same. But It'll take anywhere more than 10months to reach that price point. It will not be a viable option for ones who need a upgrade ASAP.
S22 avoid
Heating issues
Battery issues
And it is due to 8 gen 1 processor which was manufactured by Samsung instead of TSMC
Never buy 8 gen 1
How is the gaming performance?Does it heats after long gaming? Please reply sir
Big fan Ranjit sir, here are my thoughts...
( Processor used Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 but you mentioned as 8 + Gen 2)
1. No QHD+ display
2. No fast charging
3. Base variant UFS 3.1 but price is too high...
8+gen 2 processor doesn't exist. He meant it is an overclocked version of 8 gen 2
Did the battery life deteriorate on dual sim?
B/w samsung s23 and moto edge 50 which one is better value for money ?
Of course S23 you're comparing Nano with Audi ❤
