Thank you for posting your comment, I’ve been doing them daily and sometimes twice a day from May 1st this yr after learning of Dr Brooke Goldner’s protocol for reversing autoimmune diseases etc.
And I am coming to the conclusion that this must not be for my body. Since starting I have a new area on molars of receding gum line (sensitive trench along gum line), and front teeth are going translucent!! 😮
I have never had a calcium or bone problem in my life, in fact that was the one body part that’s very strong & solid. Recently I’ve been researching this very topic if green smoothies are actually harmful to bones/health but there’s more info backing it. But yes, we all need to listen to our bodies.
The 1st 2 wks I detoxed like crazy cuz I cut all animal based foods and only followed Dr Goldners protocol strictly (making my own oil free salad dressings + two big green smoothies per day).
My gut detoxed my hormones detoxed it was a ROUGH 2 wks, but now after a couple months I’m suspecting these smoothies are having more of a negative effect on my health. Nails are stronger than they have ever been in my life but my hair is shedding like crazy and def noticed a softening of bones. I’ll stop and go back to eating cooked greens

Dr. Teitelbaum is not presenting “her opinion”, she is bringing forth long term knowledge (5000 years old) in the Vedas. She and many of us have followed Shanka Vansya Ayurveda (SVA). It gives precise detailed effects of foods, how to consume, and what foods to avoid.
Raw greens need to be cooked for us to assimilate their nutrients. When we don’t, they strip us of valuable nutrients and minerals.
Again this is not conjecture or ruminations, but specifically indicated in the Vedas.
Our problem nowadays is how much advice and opinion is issued, almost daily, without long term and thorough research.

it's the goitrogens in the greens. some bodies can't handle greens raw. Their body doesn't break them down correctly. Thats why she says in this video to cook them w a fat. also, when we blend things up, we miss the fiber in the food. Chewing on the fiber of the food helps us create digestive enzymes to break down the food. then our body can it digest it correctly👍
