This card gets a 1 out of 5. It REALLY sucks because of the fees. But if you need to build credit, use it to buy some bread or a pair of socks, pay it early & there you go you are in good credit standing, lol, WINNING!!!
I had got this card was happy but now i am closing. I just got approved for Capital One Platinum. Im try>ng to rebuild my credit. And finallt on the right track. Thanks for the Great Video
Credit one and first premier are 2 cards to 100% avoid like the plague. There is no upside to them. If you have bad credit, get a secured card somewhere else.
i have had two credit one cards for about 4 years now with an 800 dollar limit i only use them every now and then, when i got them my score was really bad, and since they have age on them i just keep them
@@TheCherrybomb0824 unless your score is still very bad 4 years later and you cant afford $50 for a secured CC, you should close those cards ASAP. There's zero benefit to keeping them open. Closing them wont hurt your credit. The point drop wont be enough to knock you into a lower score tier and you'll recoup them in a few months anyway. Stop doing business with these people.
Not a scam at all the company started in 1974 way before capital one came out credit one is a good company just pay your damn bill and don't use all your limit.
Stay away from this company. They have high fees and they do not serve any purpose. If you want to get good credit you will better off getting a secured card and building your credit. I have had this card for two years and they do nothing for their customers. Avoid this card at all cost. They do not increase credit lines or anything. Trust me!!!
Forgot to add, for the record, capital one copied credit one's logo, not the other way around. Why they did that, who the hell knows. But yeah, credit one didn't copy capital one's logo.
try and only use 9% of the card that means if you get a 300.00 limit wait and pay off the the first 75 then use the card put a small bill on it like hulu netflix or maybe grocerys simple as that if u have usr more then 9% of the card maybe this card is not for you and you only get intrest if ou use more then 9% of any credit card depending on the credit limit
So if I use a small quantity of the credit card I should be ok but what if there are phony fraudulent charges? What if they put late fees on my fraudulent charges that I wasent responsible? I can’t have more then three late payments within a three year time span being a loan officer.
@@SariahSavvyTips I need to show that I’m financially responsible being a loan officer, is this credit card going to make that hard for me even with provisional safety precautions? Is this worth the risk of my career being three late payments if I’m not responsible? Let me know please.

Credit one gives zero fucks about you paying your balance in full. Their T&C clearly state you start accruing interest the minute your spend posts. There's no grace period. No getting around that.
Credit is not bad. It allows us to afford experiences. Just be sure to pay those experiences off within 30 days or less!
It sucks to have bad credit.
Definitely sucks it’ll have a big impact in your life specially if you’re older
This is the first time I have heard of this card. I just graduated from college & I am trying to build a credit history. Thanks for sharing.
We love to charge our customers fees, fees, and more fees card. It will help your credit score, but keep your balance low & pay on time!!!
This video showed up in my feed again, so I am watching again 👍

This is a I have been rejected by everyone else credit card.
Because of you, I can now make a very informed choice about getting this card or not.
Thank you!
Beautifully stated.
Than you!
It is a scam if you don't know how to play the credit card game.
Opt for Credit One American Express instead.
The leader of fees, but it gets the job done.
Only apply as a last resort. Meaning you can't get approved with no other creditors.

I don't have this card, but I have their C1AMEX. I like it.
Credit One pay by phone fee has decreased from $9.95 to $7.95. Maybe they are developing a heart.

For a beginner card... fine go with Credit One. But after one year, cut it up and forget about them.
