Great opening band! Singer is awesome (+love the occasional Ian Curtis, Pere Ubu/David Thomas moves) as are the musicians. Thanks for including them in your epic gift to fans🙏Obviously a bit inspired by (and clearly appreciated by) the headliner🙂. (Apparently they toured with them in 2016 as well) (How did you keep this so steady for 3+ hours🤔🙂)
They did open for them in 2016. I saw them (and The Cure) for the very first time live...damn near a 4 hour concert altogether. It was the BEST $137.00 I ever spent on one concert ticket back then. I saw them at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, MN., in June of 2016. I'm very glad I splurged on that concert. I didn't have front row seats, but I was somewhat close to the stage on the main floor. These guys blew me away. What a night that was!
The setlist from this video is as follows: Let/s get lost VTr That summer, at home I became the invisible boy There’s a girl in the corner I/m not here [missing face] Keep yourself warm (not by them but by Frightened Rabbit) [10 good reasons for modern drugs]
What, did the dude just get done working on his fatm? But seriously, this band seems to redundant of The Cure. I understand its one of their influences, but its almost as if they are just trying to be The Cure. I got nothing against them, but i wish The Cure would just tour alone, like they usually do. I have general admission tickets for The Cure in MD, and im going to have to sit through this band, just to see The Cure.
@@MorganKingNYC they seem like good musicians, but I just couldn't get into them. I'll see them again tonight, and Sunday night so maybe they will grow on me.
Watch them. I can hear at least 10 different bands in their music. I saw them last night open for the Cure and was BLOWN AWAY. They are that good. This video doesn’t do justice to the wall of sound they produce.
He dances how I feel listening to this music, love it!
Agreed! Great voice and talent!
