OMG Love itttt! 🥰🥰🥰I grew up in the 80s with ThE CuRe's Boys Dont Cry, Love Cats, In Between Days, Friday I'm In Love, Fire in Cairo, Just Like Heaven etc. Sir Robert Smith's voice never changed, the way he moves didn't change -so Amazing!! Thank you for sharing this vid!! ♥♥♥
Thank you so much for posting this video. I have a chronic illness, my friend invited me to the Seattle show tonight. I was not up for it. Instead of staying home sad to miss out. I'm getting to lay on the couch watching THIS show. Listen to Robert's dreamy voice, incredible musicians and feel a part of it. ❤😊 fanfuckingtastic Thank you
Watching this makes me realize the journey all of us went through when we were kids listening to this band. Seeing Robert Smith and The Cure reminds us of the time spent we had in this earth and to look ahead at what's left in our very limited time left on this earth.
Absolutely incredible how good they sound! Of all the 80's Bands doing the 2020's resurgence thing., The Cure, by far, sounds the best! So Great! Thank you to the person that shot and uploaded this video!
The video and audio quality are exceptional. I've watched all the US tour shows so far and this one is special because you're so close we can hear Robert and the actual instruments rather than hearing the concert through the PA system. Truly remarkable. Thank you so much for recording this and sharing it with us!
Pretty impressive that his voice and the band can replicate those sounds from 35 years ago on stage in 2023, outside with tough acoustics. Show some respect to your elders :)
Epic!!!! Amazing you were there in the best spot in the best venue ever. Acoustics are the best Hollywood Bowl imo and this pretty much confirms it. Thx for sharing for those of us who were not lucky enough to get tickets. This is amazing…. 🙏🏻
I missed the 2023 show here in Michigan I'm hoping they tour again here....I'm upset...I really wanted to see Robert and the band....my wife passed away unexpectedly recently and The Cure is really helping me cope with that devastating blow in my life ...all I can do is watch him here to help ease the pain a touch....I've been a fan since day 1....thank you for sharing this magical show!....I'd give anything to have been there!....I'm a lot like Robert quiet but when you open me up I'm silly and fun!....again thank you for sharing this beautiful show with me!
The absolute best upload of a concert I have ever seen ❤🎉. I saw them in Portland a couple weeks later and they sounded even better and rocked it 🤘. Ty for such a magnificent upload. It was amazing 🤩
Yes sir! It started initially by filming this for a buddy who couldn’t make it to the concert…then I figured…why not share this experience with all the other fans who couldn’t make it or who went but wanted to relive it?! Fans United!!!
What I don't understand is people who record in the back half. This I totally get and appreciate, but I don't think I could record a whole show. You did an amazing job! We had nosebleeds in Austin and loved every minute, but this is something else!
This is a lovely thing to cozy up on a chilly LA Saturday night and enjoy. thnx I live right down the street from the Bowl (but didn't go to the shows). Robert Smith is wearing a classic t-shirt of Hollywood Star Lanes, the famous bowling alley that closed in 2002, that was also the location of the Big Lebowski film. Dang. Cool.
Like being on the toe of the stage of the famous Hollywood Bowl …. With The Cure up close & personal with Robert - insane!! Thanks so much for uploading this gem!!! ❤
What an incredible video of this concert. I film a lot of bands on my phone, and I am happy when the video and sound quality are good. I have to say, this is an awesome recording! Thank you for posting it, especially since I was not able to see them on this tour. Hat's off to you for your endurance, I'd applaud you, but my arms went numb, just thinking how tired your arms must have been filming for nearly 3 hours straight 😂! Thanks again for sharing this wonderful video!
One of the funnest days of my life! The night was beautiful, the crowd was amazing, the ladies next to me were hilarious and so much fun, I was in the moment at all times and The Cure was amazing! ❤ Such a great experience! 🎶🎵
ROBERT WAS AHEAD OF HIS TIME, CREATED A DARK AND ENCHANTING RYTHM THAT HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THAT BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP AND THE SOUL BUILDS CHARACTER, AND ANXIETY AND STRESS ARE REAL PROBLEMS, HE HAD THE WHOLE PACKAGE YET, IT DOESNT MEAN HES A HAS BEEN, LIFE IS A CHALLENGE AND HE TOOK THAT CHALLENGE THAT MOST WOULD FAIL AT...HE ALSO HAS HIS QUIRKS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.HES DOWN TO EARTH WITH HIS QUIRKS AND THAT TELLS ME HE KNOWS ALOT ABOUT LIFE IN GENERAL LOL...
I saw them in Tampa and it was a great show. This footage is great but it's not the same as being there. The Cure music opens up a world of magic and awe and it's really great to be there physically with them once in your life while they are playing. In my middle age i've grown cynical of a lot of things and listening to the music again has helped me realize that there's so much that is wonderful with being alive. I'm really surprised how this one concert had such an affect on me. I also recommend people listen to some of their "newer" stuff like Underneath the Stars.
Definitively one of the best live bands for the past 40 years… The Cure shows are so fucking spectacular. Every single one I look at, they’re awesome. I hope to get a chance to see them live one day as a huge Cure fan for 10+ years…
I find your video exceptionally fun to watch. I know that you aren’t a professional videographer, so to the keyboard warrior Karen’s and Ken’s that have the audacity to bitch about the way someone graciously videotaped a concert is incomprehensible. I barely know any of these songs only a few I’ve heard on radio but this is quite an entertaining video to watch. Puts you right up in the front of everything, so thank you for sharing this.
Ha! Thank you! I just wanted to share the experience as I have friends who do the same for me when they’re at a show with good seats! As fans we all celebrate together! As for the haters, they will always hate….i didn’t do it for them….I did it for fellow fans who couldn’t make it or went and wanted to be reminded of an epic event.
Awesome. Thanks so much for sharing this! Looks like I'l have to listen to my Cure Peel Sessions recordings after this video! A day with The Cure. What could be better?
I remember Robert Smith stone drunk on two smaller concerts in Austria and i was so sad that he did not respect his fans at this time. Now I see the lovely and authentic Robert Smith and its a pleasure to see that he finally reached this state of mind. Lovely Mr Smith just dancing and smiling: ruclips.net/video/JDsTYa67KM0/видео.html

Cheers for the video and all, but how much did you spend on front row center tickets just to record the whole gig instead of just putting your phone away and simply enjoying the moment. The Cure's music is all about transporting you to a different place or time. It should be experienced, not just recorded.
Could we please all just say thank you to the uploader? What a great video and audio quality. Thank you so much!
You’re very welcome! Just giving back to the music community! I have pals who do this for me….and it’s like I’m right there with them!
Great video, thank you for this! Great seats!
Yeah, thanks a lot For this!!❤
Dammm. Really well shot!!! And audio quality 👌🏼 love the POV.
What was this shot on?
Thank you…
Incredible voice even after all the years, Bravo

Yes respect.
Funny to think that in an interview when he was 25 he said he felt it was time to retire as he was getting old

Excellent! Last time i was only 28 now im 51. Time flew fast! What a great life ive had and still having.
The absolute best upload of a concert I have ever seen ❤🎉. I saw them in Portland a couple weeks later and they sounded even better and rocked it 🤘. Ty for such a magnificent upload. It was amazing 🤩
Such a great video. The quality is outstanding. You had the dream spot up front.
We saw them in San Diego.
Thank you for sharing!!!
Thanks for sharing this! I can’t afford to see them so thanks for taking the video. They are one of my favorites. ❤
Probably best recording of a live concert I have ever seen if this was done by a fan in the front row.
Yes sir! It started initially by filming this for a buddy who couldn’t make it to the concert…then I figured…why not share this experience with all the other fans who couldn’t make it or who went but wanted to relive it?! Fans United!!!

Well, I knew I was in a very fortunate position and I had a buddy who really wanted to go, so I figure I do this for all that couldn’t make it!
Thank you for this. I'm singing and tearing up as I reminisce about the good days!
That’s exactly why I do this! Enjoy!
This band absolutely crushes it faithfully for years. So good!
Hello, I really appreciate the love and support I get from you all my lovely fans

Such an amazing band! I bloody love this band… I’ve been a fan since the 80’s! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Robert Smith….🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😍😍😂😊

Thank you for uploading! I'm going to see the Cure in NY and so excited/grateful

Unlike all the old timers , he’s the only one who kept his voice.
True that , it is remarkable how he sounds almost exactly the same as decades ago .
Don't forget Billy fking Idol
@@luish777 it's all good m8. Plenty of love to go around for all of them. Cheers.

Absolutely !
Dave Gahan still sounds the same or better.👌🏽
amo a The Cure!!!!!! es una banda que forma parte del soundtrack de mi vida!!!!!!!

The Cure has aged in perfection…Robert is still kicking it…
Not a Cure fan but i popped in to watch just a liitle and i gotta admit....guy sounds amazing. One of a kind voice
Saw them when they were first starting out in London. Before Souxsie & the banchees. Glory days
This is amazing, I am crying. Saw them in 98, thank you for sharing! ❤
Thanks whoever took the video. I am so far away from LA, so I couldn’t see them in person. Amazing show. Robert is a gawd damn gem!!

I was at the concert in New Orleans last month and the experience was incredible ❤. This is a great video; thank you for uploading it.
And Nothing Is Forever is my new favorite Cure song. Just saw them in Mass. and they were insanely good.
The same timbre of voice and longing in some songs as 30 years ago...
Cool!
Reflexivo, melancólico e embalado com poesia. Simplesmente A Cura...🤘
Thank you for the great audio and video ❤❤❤
What I wouldn't give to be that close to these legends!!!

What? The Cure still sounds like they’re 20.

At some point they'll all be 80 years old...except for the bassplayer, he'll still be in his 30's then.
