The BEST decade EVER- 80s were a magical time to grow up and these guys capture that time so perfectly. What great memories. Those of us that grew up in this era are so blessed- others truly missed out=)
They were the soundtrack of my youth and I didnt even notice it at the time. Anytime I hear their songs Im transported back to the 80s and 90s. Time is cruel. But life is amazing.
OMG Love itttt! 🥰🥰🥰I grew up in the 80s with ThE CuRe's Boys Dont Cry, Love Cats, In Between Days, Friday I'm In Love, Fire in Cairo, Just Like Heaven etc. Sir Robert Smith's voice never changed, the way he moves didn't change -so Amazing!! Thank you for sharing this vid!! ♥♥♥
Thank you so much for posting this video. I have a chronic illness, my friend invited me to the Seattle show tonight. I was not up for it. Instead of staying home sad to miss out. I'm getting to lay on the couch watching THIS show. Listen to Robert's dreamy voice, incredible musicians and feel a part of it. ❤😊 fanfuckingtastic Thank you
A band such as the Cure is a gift from the heavens for all of us to enjoy...Each and every performance is truly special and exciting to watch...Thanks Cure for giving us the gift of your talent to enjoy now and forever...
Watching this makes me realize the journey all of us went through when we were kids listening to this band. Seeing Robert Smith and The Cure reminds us of the time spent we had in this earth and to look ahead at what's left in our very limited time left on this earth.
The only band to ever make me feel so happy and so sad at the same time. Their resolution always leaves you wanting more. Simple, yet complex. Quite literally the best vocals on the planet. I wish I could live inside their music.
The video and audio quality are exceptional. I've watched all the US tour shows so far and this one is special because you're so close we can hear Robert and the actual instruments rather than hearing the concert through the PA system. Truly remarkable. Thank you so much for recording this and sharing it with us!

Watching this, smiling, letting myself slip mentally back to college in 1986-87. So much happiness, joy, freedom, and emotion. Feels like yesterday, thank you Robert @ Morgan.
Pretty impressive that his voice and the band can replicate those sounds from 35 years ago on stage in 2023, outside with tough acoustics. Show some respect to your elders :)
Robert Smith is an example of how you don’t just get over something. He is still so shy and has been doing this for like 40 years? Amazing group, someone out there will always need a Cure song sometime
Absolutely incredible how good they sound! Of all the 80's Bands doing the 2020's resurgence thing., The Cure, by far, sounds the best! So Great! Thank you to the person that shot and uploaded this video!
I just want to say, you made my year😊 That footage was unbelievable and as an Australian fan, i have been following the U S. Tour with envy, but you made it feel like i was right there. Thank you
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love it! For those of us that couldn't go, but love The Cure, having this footage of them live, up front, fantastic footage, I love it...I thank you!!!!
I had the opportunity to see them for the first in Bogotá, Colombia, on December 10th at the age of 52. Despite having followed their records since my teens, the live experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Every aspect, from the lights to the sound, and the music itself, was executed with perfection.
I don´t know you but THANK YOU Morgan King for having the patience to record the concert in a superb quality of video and sound without any flaws. I was at the PDX concert last week, and I´ve tried to record more than one song and at some point I say "screw this, i will watch the concert instead" Your video made me feel I was in the front row!
I will forever love The Cure. Years ago I was in high school and lost after my grandmother died. Their music was healing and spoke to me on so many levels. I will always love you❤

I love how genuine he seems to be walking the stage, seems very contemplative and just soaking the crowd in. And at the very end when he touches his heart. ♥️♥️
great ... thanks ! my favourite all time band ... never get tired of listening to The Cure. Open the clip, close my eyes and listen .. and they're still there, The Cure.

I was lucky enough to see the cure supporting siouxsie and the banshees at Hammersmith Odeon 1978? Robert also played for the banshees that night i remember him saying this is our new single out soon called "jump on somebody else's train" lucky me ,he sounds amazing cracking footage 🇬🇧🍀🇮🇪
This is the best video out here. What a blessing to be able to sit in the best seats in the house and watch these talented men! I must have watched this at least 5 times🤗 I seen them live in Phoenix few weeks earlier. They sound A1 just like in the 80's. I had floor seats but not this close. Thank you for posting this GEM🤗👍♥️
Epic!!!! Amazing you were there in the best spot in the best venue ever. Acoustics are the best Hollywood Bowl imo and this pretty much confirms it. Thx for sharing for those of us who were not lucky enough to get tickets. This is amazing…. 🙏🏻
I had not listened to the Cure in 20 years, then I came upon this video. It stopped me cold. Alone, the opener, is such a perfect song, especially with Robert Smith looking out to the crowd. I am now a big fan! That’s the beauty of live music, captured and shared for all to see. Thank you!
Thank you so much for uploading this show!! For those of us who couldn’t be there, this was awesome to see! I had chills throughout and cried when it was over. Robert Smith’s voice was amazing as was the band. Thanks again!!! ❤
The absolute best upload of a concert I have ever seen ❤🎉. I saw them in Portland a couple weeks later and they sounded even better and rocked it 🤘. Ty for such a magnificent upload. It was amazing 🤩
Ive been listening to these guys since 1987 we are all older and times have definitely changed but thier sound will last forever they are a really great band..
And as an extra guest, you can see at 0:35 just in front of the stage next to the security guy, Richard Bellia, a famous french photographer who started his career in 1980 and who has taken many wonderful pictures of The Cure (and many, many other bands and artists) through the years. For the record, he still works on film and refuses to use a digital camera... Legend !
Seriously Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this!!!! I wish I could hug you with joy. My sister went to this concert and wished I could of been there and with this video I felt like I was there. This video is just amazing!!! Great job. You the best!!
Thanks bro. Im 50 so that puts me right in the mix. Found this yesterday and could only watch for 30 minutes before i lhad to go to work and i couldn't wait to get home to watch the rest, stayed up all night when i got home..wow man thanks alot, truly enjoyed watching. Listened to "mixed up" the morning after going to work. 👍 👍 👍 👍
I was there night number 1 at the Hollywood Bowl ! This was an awesome show ! Robert Smith sounded amazing with the rest of the band ! One of the best concerts I’ve attended !
Thank you so much for uploading this. The Cure are my favourite band in the world. one minute i'm 13 years old and buying pornography on vinyl and the next minute i'm 53! I've made so many friends from all over either from being at Cure gigs or through mutual friends online. Much love to all Cure fans everywhere!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Hey! 19 yr old fan here, what was it like to listen to the cure in ‘82, when pornography first came out?? I’d love to know! And love right back at you ❤xx
@@ChiB2004 I was 13 in 1983 and had just discovered The Cure. With my small allowance saved up for months I got my dad to drive me to a record shop and I had enough to get Faith and Pornography - my dad then also bought seventeen seconds for me. I was planning to use my parents record player, but when we got home it turned out they had bought a recordplayer with integrated cassette player/recorder to me and also headphones - for their own sake they said. I can't listen to those 3 albums today - way too many emotions connected to them. The times were different. Seen them live multiple times between 1985 and 2011. Can't any more.
Just got home from seeing them in Seattle, for the 7th time in my life. My favorite band of all time. Robert Smith has been flawless brilliance every time
Simply put, one of the greatest, most impactful bands in the entire history of rock. Robert Smith is a messenger, perhaps without equal, in the genre. These present day live performances capture only partially the profound impact The Cure had on arguably the greatest musical decade, late 70's thru the 80's Britain.
Yes, let's say thank you. Thank you so much for such a great video! The Cure is my favorite band in the whole wide world. They've been with me for 30 years. They've never ever abandoned me and have carried me through the most difficult times... I can't wait to see them here in NYC on June 20th! 🖤🥰🥀
Seeing all of these Cure concerts on RUclips makes me wish (no pun intended) that I could be there to experience it. It would be a life-changing moment.
I missed the 2023 show here in Michigan I'm hoping they tour again here....I'm upset...I really wanted to see Robert and the band....my wife passed away unexpectedly recently and The Cure is really helping me cope with that devastating blow in my life ...all I can do is watch him here to help ease the pain a touch....I've been a fan since day 1....thank you for sharing this magical show!....I'd give anything to have been there!....I'm a lot like Robert quiet but when you open me up I'm silly and fun!....again thank you for sharing this beautiful show with me!
I haven’t seen them in years, the last time was when they toured Bloodflowers. That show left such a lasting impression on me. I’ll never forget it. Were fortunate that these bands not only exist but exist in our time.
Could we please all just say thank you to the uploader? What a great video and audio quality. Thank you so much!
You’re very welcome! Just giving back to the music community! I have pals who do this for me….and it’s like I’m right there with them!

The selflessness of the person in the front row going to the trouble to record the whole show for the rest to see forever is a beautiful thing.

The BEST decade EVER- 80s were a magical time to grow up and these guys capture that time so perfectly. What great memories. Those of us that grew up in this era are so blessed- others truly missed out=)
The Cure is really amazing playing alive, Robert's voice still perfect. The Cure and Depeche Mode still doing excellent live concerts.
❤😊 fanfuckingtastic
Thank you
Same, chronical illness ,listening with my dog in the bed. ❤
A band such as the Cure is a gift from the heavens for all of us to enjoy...Each and every performance is truly special and exciting to watch...Thanks Cure for giving us the gift of your talent to enjoy now and forever...
What's special about them?
The best live band right now.
@@SMDAHL sure they're great if you're a 12yr old girl.theyre actually pretty lame.
@@nathandodge665 So you must be that 12yr old girl, hey m8? What a sad miserable bastard you must be.
Ich fühle auch so.🫶
I was there!!! One year ago today... time flies! Thank you for this video so I can re-live this awesome show and moment in my life! ❤
His voice has not changed at all! Almost 3 hours of concert, it's amazing!
Robert Smith is 100% authentic!! 100% Goth. It’s not a gimmick.
thats Goth? Looks like a Zombie.
The Vikings x running back ?

45 years ago, boys don't cry was from 1978
Yes respect.
Funny to think that in an interview when he was 25 he said he felt it was time to retire as he was getting old
What a wonderful and committed capture of the great Cure! Thanks so much for sharing.
He and his music are so beautiful..
I just want to say, you made my year😊 That footage was unbelievable and as an Australian fan, i have been following the U S. Tour with envy, but you made it feel like i was right there. Thank you
Thank You, I woke up this morning needing this...The Cure!!❤ WOW!!
Your footage is spectacular!!🎉
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Love Robert. He is the greatest rock star ever. Such a real person. So genuine
The Cure will always be something special in my life. So many of my good memories were comprised by their music. 😊🤙❤
I really appreciate listening to the Cure! I came play their tunes again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again!
I see what you did there...😅
Since 1982, I've loved their music ..we have literally watched the band from young men to mature men. Once in a lifetime band.
I will forever love The Cure. Years ago I was in high school and lost after my grandmother died. Their music was healing and spoke to me on so many levels. I will always love you❤
Thank you so much for filming and sharing this. The Cure has always been one of my favorite groups.
THANKS, this video/footage is a historic document. ❤
I was there! In one word the performance, the sound, the energy, the venue was phenomenal!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I really like the sound of the new album. Can’t wait for it to come out
Timestamps??
Fantastic band and Robert Smith gets more and more adorable with each passing year 🥰🥰🥰 cannot wait to see them in a few weeks. Thank you for this!!

Thanks for sharing this with all the Cure fans around the world!!!
🙏
I'm watching the cure at Hollywood bowl from a bed in North east England!dosent get much better than this...brilliant quality..muchio grassyarse❤
Robert Smith and the band sounding absolutely amazing !
What a rush of emotions! The first time I heard them, I was 14... I'm 52 and it still feels the same❗️
I had not listened to the Cure in 20 years, then I came upon this video. It stopped me cold. Alone, the opener, is such a perfect song, especially with Robert Smith looking out to the crowd. I am now a big fan! That’s the beauty of live music, captured and shared for all to see. Thank you!
His voice hasn't changed at all. They sound GREAT!
Thank you so much for uploading this show!! For those of us who couldn’t be there, this was awesome to see! I had chills throughout and cried when it was over. Robert Smith’s voice was amazing as was the band. Thanks again!!! ❤
Excellent! Last time i was only 28 now im 51. Time flew fast! What a great life ive had and still having.
The absolute best upload of a concert I have ever seen ❤🎉. I saw them in Portland a couple weeks later and they sounded even better and rocked it 🤘. Ty for such a magnificent upload. It was amazing 🤩
He's still Got it!....No drop off! WOW and AMAZING🤗
Legend !
Wow thank you for this information.
Such great sound - thank you for capturing and sharing!
I don't know what was more impressive... the concert itself of the fact that you held that camera up for nearly 3 hours without getting tired...wow!
Ha! I’ve had lots of practice! The secret is switching hands every now and then when you’re panning the stage!
amo a The Cure!!!!!! es una banda que forma parte del soundtrack de mi vida!!!!!!!
Seriously Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this!!!! I wish I could hug you with joy. My sister went to this concert and wished I could of been there and with this video I felt like I was there. This video is just amazing!!! Great job. You the best!!
Thank you from Brazil for sharing....my favourite band...great quality...
Such a great video. The quality is outstanding. You had the dream spot up front.
We saw them in San Diego.
Thank you for sharing!!!
Happy to spread the love we have for the Cure! Fans United!
Much love to you too, my friend. 🖤✨
Just got home from seeing them in Seattle, for the 7th time in my life. My favorite band of all time. Robert Smith has been flawless brilliance every time
Such an amazing band! I bloody love this band… I’ve been a fan since the 80’s! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Robert Smith….🤤🤤🤤😍😍😍😍😍😂😊
They just finished 3 nights at Madison Square Garden..I work there..they were Great!!
This is how music should be, total escapism, the audience are hypnotised.
Respect to the uploader, great job❤
Thank you for sharing the best seat in the house with us. Wow! 😊
I am sorry for your loss.
Thanks for sharing this! I can’t afford to see them so thanks for taking the video. They are one of my favorites. ❤
Very nicely filmed and excellent sound quality - Thanks
Thank you for this. I'm singing and tearing up as I reminisce about the good days!
That’s exactly why I do this! Enjoy!
The cure es de esas bandas que quieres escuchar todo el día y no te cansas , I love you the cure
Best voice from then until now ever!
Tô à mais de 40 anos ouvindo The Cure e me emociono em ver eles envelhecendo e mostrando a alta qualidade que eles tem !
No one sounds like the Cure...except the Cure.🎼
has an old band ever made such incredible new music !!? And his voice !! unchanged. really all is phenomenal
I haven’t seen them in years, the last time was when they toured Bloodflowers. That show left such a lasting impression on me. I’ll never forget it. Were fortunate that these bands not only exist but exist in our time.
