I had no idea these cars were getting so hard to find im even more thankful i saved the 4cyl 87 notch now more than ever
Hold onto it! Future classics!
@@JustDriven update car is now in the shop getting prepped for a V8 5 speed swap and 5 lug conversion and cosmetics car got parked about 20 years ago so the paint wore badly but it is a 68k rust free car with perfectly intact quarter panel glass , car was rescued from an abandoned house where it's prior owner passed and the kids were to scared to defend the dump from crackheads , eventually I split up with my ex and bought land so I made a specific trip 300 miles back to this hell hole and rescued this little guy only because the old man was a car guy and he tried to save it too and this place was a magnet for meth heads.
Jason is the best on the west. Always builds quality cars. Thanks for video footage

I know this video is three years old and I feel bad I hit the like button and it went from 187 to 188.
Why would you feel bad for helping support our growing channel? We still have this project and we've been collecting decals and electronics for it.
@@JustDriven I support and love what your doing it’s the penal code 187 was what I was hinting at
Oh! Yah, we missed that one, but your sense of humor is killin' it!
Thanks for the tips just subscribed.
Thank you so much! We have a new video coming this week with some more SSP content.
where is this guy Jason? Where is his shop?
The Inland Empire in California.
Really enjoyed the video.
I am the owner of a ‘86 Idaho ssp mustang
Former Idaho State police?
canyon county Idaho sheriff’s car
its white primer. its a sealer. all foxes and SSP's were Sealed in white. then painted color. the sealer is some good shit...
We prefer to take things to another level.
Also, Most aka 90% would prefer OEM, not perfect...
We don't mind trying to achieve both.
What does one of those resto ballpark cost i have a 89
It can be pretty costly. Especially if you plan on getting all the equipment as well.
Jason is the best of the best
an absolute perfectionist
Stupidly a dream car of mine! Thanks for bringing back memories
Not stupidly.
Does anyone know if those were the original ssp subframe connectors or did they install aftermarket ones?
Motorola Micor equipment.
The contract for this GE equipment was:
Contract No. 1-88-58-30, Dated April 20, 1988
Purchase Order # 40041, July 29, 1988
Thank you for the information!
Any updates on the ssp?
We are heading out to check out an update later this week actually!
@@JustDriven I have a 93 CHP SSP, could use some help locating the spotlights.
Is he able to get reproduction VIN tags for all of the body parts? I had an 88 SSP, but I was worried about a repaint and loosing all of the VIN stickers.
Look up Osborn Reproductions
