" An arrogant New York District Attorney refused to stop for a cop after she was caught speeding because she 'didn't feel like it' and was stressed from dealing with murders all day. Monroe County DA Sandra Doorley had a tense interaction with a Webster police officer on Monday after the cop tried to pull her over for driving 55 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. Bodycam footage shows the heated exchange - in which Doorley said 'I didn't feel like stopping on Phillips Road at 5:30.' The officer responded 'That's not your choice... you know that.' Doorley quipped back 'I made it my choice.' According to Doorley, instead of pulling over at the time she decided to call Webster Police Chief Dennis Kohlmeier to say she was not a threat and would talk to the officer back at her house.
As the officer informs her that she made the situation a bigger deal than it needed to be by refusing to pull over, Doorley can be heard responding with 'just write me the traffic ticket.' " Article by the Dailymail : www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...

For anyone using upside. I got it from a Christina video and while I like the app I've learned a few things. Yes it's true cash back right away. BUT whenever I filled up the first time with her code I got like 47c back per gallon. After that my nearest gas station is only 1c per gallon. If I want 8/10c per Callan I have to drive a least 5/10 miles from my house to get it. So yes it's real. But I'm earning approx 2$ each time I fill up. Thanks Christina

In my state it is a Reckless Driving ticket for 20 over. I don’t know the amount but I bet it is a thousand. Fifty five and going seventy five would be less serious IMO.

She should lose her whole career, be disbarred, and have to face the same arrest, and charges, that anyone else would have to face, for evading and fleeing from police. She should not get away with just a ticket for speeding and ethics training. Wtf? I could not believe it when she said what she was doing to make up for that, like that makes it okay in any way. It stopped being just a speeding issue, when she didn't pull over, and drove to her house.

Exactly, while vacationing in Hawaii (The Big Island) last summer with my girl friend, we were staying near Hawi (northern tip where the often cloudy Maui Channel blocks the view of Maui some 30 miles and 6,000 feet deep, one day heading up the east side where the speed limit was 55, we were tickled to see the magnificent unobstructed view of Maui, as we admired the view, I didn't realize the speed limit dropped to 40 and sure enough encountered a policeman enforcing the speed limit. I pulled over and handed him my license, registration, and proof of insurance along with saying something like "you caught me red handed officer, I was admiring the view of Maui when I should have been paying attention to my driving." My gf is 100% Filipino and suspected the officer was as well and spoke with him in Tagalog. She said he was very reluctant to issue me a ticket for 12 mph over the posted 40. I told the officer, you are doing your job, don't feel reluctant, as I was clearly speeding, and took my ticket.

I couldn't agree more. These people high in power should absolutely be held to a much HIGHER standard. It's ridiculous what they get away with. Furthermore her justification of oh well I was just having a bad day blah blah blah, I highly doubt she would let one of her defendants get away with that excuse.

She is acting like how dare you pull me over, don’t you know who I am? The audacity!! She fully believes she is above the law. And she basically said I don’t care if you give me a ticket I will just throw it out because I have that much power to do what I want. 🙄

That apology was bogus, she’s just trying to cover her a$$. She is only trying to backtrack because the footage of her despicable and unprofessional behavior has been released. She treated that officer like he was the dirt under her shoe. Definitely needs to be removed from any kind of position of power. If she acts this way in the light of day where she had to have known she was being recorded…what is she doing behind closed doors 👀 thanks for covering this Christina ❤️

She’s upset because she had to hear about 3 homicides…. But did she forget WHY we have laws against speeding? She could have committed homicide by going 20 mph over the speed limit. She thinks she’s above the law. She wouldn’t take “I wish I could go back and do it differently” as any excuse if there had been a fatal accident because of someone else driving that fast.

Hi everyone. I'm in Liverpool in the UK. For this woman to quote Margaret Thatcher and think that this is a good thing, blows me away. That woman destroyed my country in the 1980s. Memories run deep. This DA is a disgrace to the position she holds and I hope she felt ashamed of herself when this was made public.

If she didn't know he was following her, why was she calling the Chief??? I am sorry as the wife of a retired cop, she needs the cops as much as they need her. If they don't work together, no case will ever be solved. She is not above the law. To talk to him like she was in a bar fight is pathetic.

Thanks for covering this. Everything she did would have gotten another person shot and/or killed. She reached into her car when the officer was telling her to stay behind the car. She went inside, she could have easily came out with a weapon. This is despicable. Everyone knows that if she was prosecuting a case like this on any other person she most likely would have thrown the book at them, they should throw the book at her and she should lose her job without a double. Lose her career period, she shouldn't be allowed to be a DA anywhere. Her nerve to think: How dare you pull me over. Lady pull over, apologize, flash your badge and most likely walk away with a slap on the wrist. No, she had to think she was above the law.
