    The Piriformis muscle is a small muscle that runs from the base of your spine to the upper leg.
    The Sciatica nerve, which is a large nerve that runs from your back to your toes, lies in close proximity to the piriformis muscle.
    The Sciatic nerve can be compressed by the piriformis muscle, causing back pain, pain in the buttocks and even leg pain.
    People with piriformis syndrome typically suffer from persistent low back pain, pain in the buttocks and/or pain down the back of the upper leg.
    They can also experience numbness or tingling in the same areas.
    In this video, I am sharing some very efficient stretching techniques for the piriformis muscle with you.

    Thank you you are amazing... I have been to one two doctors and a chiropractic therapist I have had X-rays radiography no one an find where my pain is and just in a few minutes.. You know exactly where my problem is... I am definitely doing these exercises daily several times to get back my life... Thank you so much.. God bless you x

    Those are brilliant! I get sciatica about once a year, and do the pigeon exercises. These will be a nice addition or replacement. Thanks for the consistently great content.

    Excellent instructions. I have used the ball before on the piriformis and had very good results. I believe its called Myofascial release.

    this is vary helpful most days my right butt cheek feels bruised like i have fallen on it but i have not! and other days it goes up the back and down the leg! not fun!

    Sir, by using these exercises, can we perform advanced asanas ? I am following your videos because of you are a doctor. Please make shoulder opening, hip opening, back bending, neck flexibility, ankle flexibility and all body flexibility exercises.

    I’ve had severe back issues for years ,it’s pretty much ruined my life . After two failed back surgeries my Neurosurgeon has diagnosed me with spinal stenosis , its constant pain every day of my life . Is there anything that I can do to live with it ?

    Can I do these exercises having S1 L5 problem House wife my weight is 88 kg having back pain right side of hip pain can't stand for long time my thigh get little numness my question is can I sit down climb stairs doing ur exercise feeling little better now days feeling left knee pain doing 15 mints walking doing my routine house work please suggest me can I sit down climb stairs and thank you so much for video
