Just wanted to say thank you to Warren Buffet and the late Charlie Munger for empowering people globally for a better financial for their tomorrow. Thank you both for your mentorship.
Warren Buffet rescued Canadian home capital group and later on took it private. Because of Warren, I was able to make money from my home capital shares and cashed them out. Thanks a lot❤
As a Canadian I pulled every dollar out of Canada.
Good I’ll buy cheap sell high 😂
@@dropshipincanada TSX is 💩
The Berkshire meeting is the Super Bowl for Buffett fans
Not the same without Charlie though
Greg Abel is Canadian. I don't know if this will have any bearing
I live there and I’m hesitant investing in the country I live in. All the big investments have literally been heavily funded/subsidized by the federal government. And the federal government is broke and in massive debt 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Haven't you heard ? The budget will balance itself. Also, Justin said "Forgive me if I'm not concerned about the budget." So there you have it. Right from the mouth of a true financial wizard.
Many companies in the USA are as well. That is nothing new.
@@tonyfulford3175 You people do not listen - Buffett just said he has no issues investing in Canada - do you think if he did, he'd be investing here?
CPP barely invests in Canada but Warren does
CPP had 74 billion invested in Canada. That is about 12% of its capital. For a Country our size, that sounds about right.
@@trentriver it was 16% from 2019-2022, reduced to 14% in 2023 and now 12%. Our own country should support Canadian corporations.
@@gamedran To a point I agree - but if you want a CPP when you are 65, then CPP has to go where the best returns are, otherwise you will have a lot of very unhappy voters who are not receiving a CPP. The Canadian stock market is only 3% of world markets. If you limit yourself to that, you are doing your shareholders - the Canadian public - a grave injustice.
My guess is CNQ :)
I bet he’s looking at TD with the latest beat down
Edit: he mentioned “terms” so this could also be one of those preferred equity deals again. Not sure if TD needs that kind of capital injection
BCE at 46$ is my guess
TD is under major fire from a money laundering probe. Analysts expect fines of up to $2 billion, and future business for the company could be a challenge. I wouldn't go anywhere near TD bank in terms of investment, however it is still a trustworthy bank to keep cash.
In the red after 5 years, don’t think buffet is that dumb
Is it me or did Warren’s ears grow longer? Investing in Canada would be wise now, the country is on the brink of a recession
I've been hearing about a recession for years...
Canadas energy sector has been in a recession which is dragging the economy but retail is doing better thanks to mass immigration from India
Canada is not on the brink of a recession. Complete rubbish. Canada's inflation rate is down to 2.7% and falling - lower than the USA. Many of the remarks on this thread are from very misinformed people who have likely never invested a nickel in their lives.
Was this guy hammered
Like this message if you miss Charlie 😇
No needed the brilliant will understand the others won't their bad luck ❤❤🎉🎉

Nada como mejor tener nidos global
Who let this guy in
😂😂
Bro's struggling with the reverb of his own voice I'm guessing.
Bell Canada has pulled back 20%. ..9% dividend.. BCE is my guess
LOL
That’s an amazing chart. Thanks
@@jfyhoubell isnt a buffett business.
Lolol keep guessing
Never
🎉
The delivery of this question was absolutely awful.
One day he'll grow up, I guess!
Forgive me, but are you referring to the 27 year old at the beginning of the segment? If you are, he cannot help with the way he was talking.
@gmalda so basically the microphone was reverbing and echoing all over the place at this microphone station. Made it tough to converse. I don’t usually sound like this lol.
@@gmalda By "delivery" I was not merely referring to the boy's vocal tone.
@@liamsmith660 that's cool you got to ask a question
@@liamsmith660good job on the question, it must have been exciting, and nerve racking
😸👍
Since I became so rich in cryptocurrency I realise that crypto is the future cuz I invested 15k and 70k as weekly profit I appreciate the help of your channel 😃🙂

Does she also offer mentorship, lecturing and tutorials?
How do I connect with her please?
Translation: For all practical purposes, Canada is inconsequential to Berkshire. We may occasionally look at potential opportunities and execute on a case-by-case basis, but that's about it.
Do not touch the Canadian market/economy with a 10 foot pole
Agreed…but this is a different question at Berkshires level.
Don't give up on the Maple Leaf Buffett loves Canada you can bank on it 🇨🇦❤🇺🇸 4:08
You can eat MacDonald’s burgers practically every day provided you are not overcalorificating and adequately getting micros from other foods or supplements.
