I’m in Australia, and very new to this. I’ve been trying to find a broker . that has good customer services and is the commission through them expensive? love some clarification or guidance, please from MR SAM DEYMON.
As someone who managed to become financially independent I couldn't agree more with everything he said. Avoiding idiotic behaviour is so extremely important, and focusing on the few things that matter: health and good relationships
Bravooo William it is a great speech, it is obvious that by emulating greatness you became great. After watching your podcasts I found out about your book and currently reading Richer, Wiser, Happier. Thank you.

Thanks so much, Adam! This means a lot coming from you. Warm wishes, William
Why is it fitting that it's from the Berkshires? I grew up in Pittsfield and don't get your thought on this.

Thanks so much, Bogumil! Much appreciated.

What a wonderful talk, William. So well done. I really enjoyed it and the parallels you drew between being a successful investor and having a successful, happy life. And the tip to be non-idiotic resonates!. I'll give it a shot!
Many thanks, Nikhil! So glad you enjoyed the talk. In Munger We Trust. Warm wishes, William
@@RicherWiserHappier Great talk and amazing book, William. I got jealous several times while reading your book just thinking about how you got to spend time with all these amazing investors:)
Because of it, I got to know many other wonderful investors who I'm now trying to follow regularly - especially liked the part with Nick Sleep!
@@TechnoBacon55 Many thanks!
Great talk but misleading numbers. The 375 rule assumes that the pension pot only grows by inflation. I would invest in a 60:40 diversified stock bond index fund to sustain a much higher spending level.
EPIC
🔥🔥
Great talk. I especially loved the part about Munger. I am truly inspired.
Many thanks, Ian. Meeting Charlie Munger was an unforgettable experience -- I'm glad to be able to share it. Warm wishes, William
beautiful speech
This is a great talk. Also, I completely understand not investing in what you don't understand, but I also believe you can't ignore an entire asset class, so you might wanna give Bitcoin a good investigation. Consider the possibility that there is a non zero risk of maintaining a zero position in Bitcoin. If nothing else, consider that if the thesis is correct, a 1% allocation could hedge your bonds, like Mass Mutual and New York Life are doing. Or 10% if you can get behind Paul Tudor Jones' more aggressive recommendation. You mention Bill Miller, well, he has a relatively large position in Bitcoin as well. These are some of the most risk averse institutions and greatest macro investors of all time. What do they know that you don't?
Thanks a lot, Steven. You make a great point. I've been spending a lot more time lately trying to educate myself about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It's an extraordinarily important innovation with profound ramifications. So I definitely need to learn much more, while also resisting the dangerous urge to pile in because it's too painful to miss out!
Brilliant! Great talk!
Many thanks, Dustin! I really appreciate it. Warm wishes, William
A.I. is like fire🔥🔥🔥which enables us to cook and consume food but can and will become veld fire which will consume us when we eventually lose control over it and we have already lost it.
The Bible says that too. “Love thy neighbor as thyself”.
Before watching this vid. I realized that I had already applied what subtraction is. Cutting all the BS in your life that doesn't add to your value as a human/person like social media and people that don't matter to you.
this would be fire with some subway surfers gameplay
More about life less about investment.
As a long term investor, the key to winning is "diversification". You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. An associate of mine lost almost half of his inheritance in the very recent Luna crypto saga. Personally, as one who has been into Real Estates for as long as I can remember, I made my first million earlier this year from stocks alone (through the help of a pro though). I also experiment with a couple of other things. Imagine what the situation would had been given the real estates market if I were solely banking on it.
Pragmatic... I have been into all of these for sometime and though I won't say I have lost a fortune, I have squandered quite a lot... How can I get in touch with one? If it's not a problem, do you mind recommending the pro. you worked with? I could definitely use the help of one right now... I anticipate your response..
@@berlin2999 you don't need one if you got time. read materials on this, watch videos on this, you will be alright

This video really moves me! I've been working so hard over the past 1 and a half year to achieve my trading goals. Such high yields in this recession is only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor like Mrs Shay
've seen a lots of positive post about MRS SHAY I find stock trading difficult,
Please How do i CONTACT ?
I love what he said about having a long term view so much. Being in the market demands a lot of patience. Im not close to being a great investor, but having a long term view has definitely helped me profit significantly, more than 400% in the last five years.
I agree. I don't really know much about investing myself, but I use a third party advisor, and being patient especially when I use those CNBC headlines. I made a six-figure profit last year, and I'm goin gin much harder this year.
Time in the market is more important than timing the market. I can't remember who made that quote.
One of my goals is to employ the service of a financial advisor this year. I've seen some off LinkedIn but wasn't able to get a response. Could you recommend who it is you work with?
I'm not an expert or anything to provide advice. I actually combine my little knowledge with the help of a financial advisor. If you need a suggestion, I work with Sharon Louise Count and you could check her out yourself.
Dear person whoever reading this, we may not know each others but I wish you all the best in life ! Stop blaming yourself, accept things and go forward. Your smile is precious 🥰

You’re correct
Can you share the name of the book he’s talking about please? Thank you!

The greatest modern investor is Jim Simons (annual return 72%) and his strategy is very complex with sophisticated math. Only the 2nd class investors have simple strategies.

Don't gamble. Take your time to learn about Bitcoin, not because it's the hottest thing, but because it's worth understanding. You'll find it a worthy investment.

Honestly for me started so little with just $4k with Shay.
I've seen a lots of positive post about Mrs Shay I find stock trading difficult,

The most important attribute to be an extremely successful investor is to be of the Jewish persuasion.
I'm Jewish and am a significantly better writer than I am an investor! Not sure your logic holds up! Warm wishes, William
So if we ALL buy beaten down stocks in hopes of being the ones that go against the grain and win big then we’ll no longer be going against the grain hey😂😂😂 we gotta buy beaten, beaten, beaten down stocks
Even with the economic recession and downturn. I'm so happy I've been earning $60,000 Returns from my $8000 investment on short term with Mrs Shay.
